MSTU GA and its branches in Irkutsk and Rostov-on-Don in 2017 will be able to admit a total of 937 people to study on state-accredited educational programs of higher education (bachelor's, master's, specialty) for budgetary places against 708 people in 2016. At the same time, 567 applicants will be able to enroll in full-time education next year, and 370 for part-time education. This year, full-time and correspondence departments will receive respectively 453 and 255 people.

Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation is a unique higher educational institution that trains specialists in the field of civil aviation. Analogues of MSTU GA in Russian Federation does not exist at the moment.
