Competition procedure

The rules for the performance of participants in the competition include a report, a demonstration of the results of observations (experiments, design, creativity), the participants' answers to the questions of the jury and does not exceed in general7 minutes (regardless of the number of participants who performed the work).

The competition presents works performed independently and individually, or by a team of authors no more than 2 people. When defending a collective work, each of the authors speaks and presents their own contribution to the research.

Students in four age groups can take part in the competition: 1-4 cl., 5-6 cl., 7-8 cl., 9-11 cl.

The purpose of the competition is to improve the quality of education and the effectiveness of teaching students by means of project and research activities.

Objectives of the competition:

Development of creative abilities and cognitive activity of students;

Providing students with the opportunity to compete on a scale that goes beyond the educational institution and the region;

Revealing gifted children through project and research activities.

Competition subject:

The design and research works of schoolchildren of grades 1-11 and students of 1-2 courses are presented for the competition (based on 9 grades)

Criteria for evaluation.

1. Clarity of the wording of the topic, its relevance.

2. Putting forward a hypothesis for research work and the presence of a problem for design work.

3. Using scientific facts in work, the experience of scientists and researchers

4. The consistency of drawing up a work plan, the completeness of the disclosure of the topic.

5. Creativity and reasoned point of view of the author, independent assessments and judgments.

On December 7-8, the All-Russian Conference of Young Scientists "Distant Horizons of Science" and the VIII All-Russian Congress Councils of young scientists and specialists. The purpose of the events was to attract young scientists, teachers, graduate students and students to solve the problems defined by the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development Russian Federation (SNTR).

The SNTR was approved by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of December 1, 2016 No. 642. According to the text of the document, the scientific and technological development of our country is determined by a complex of external and internal (in relation to the field of science and technology) factors that form a system of great challenges, and science and technology are one of the key tools for responding to these challenges. Overcoming each challenge requires domestic science solving new complex, complex tasks requiring the pooling of significant resources of the scientific and technological sphere, as well as the transition to new mechanisms of management and organization of scientific activities.

Young scientists are the driving force behind the development of Russia in the present and in the future. Their creativity and energy allow them to look beyond the distant horizons of science and find complex solutions to pressing problems. In accordance with the program of the Conference, presentations of bold and large-scale projects of young scientists aimed at overcoming major challenges took place. More than 500 scientific leaders from all over the country took part in the event.

The editorial board of the international scientific journal "Scientific Horizons" announces all-Russian competition Science: Free Format - 2018, timed to coincide with the celebration of the All-Russian Science Day on February 8, which can be attended by both individual scientists, teachers and groups of authors.

The main requirement for the works sent to the competition is the uniqueness of the articles and the relevance of the chosen topic.

Deadlines for accepting competitive articles: February 5, 2018 - February 26, 2018.The results of the competition will be announced on February 27, 2017, diplomas will be sent to the winners on March 2, 2018.

Articles submitted to the competition are evaluated in the following nominations:

The evaluation of articles submitted within the framework of the competition is carried out by members of the competition commission, formed from among the members of the editorial board of the journal, by filling out. The winners in each nomination are determined by comparing the highest final score for all assessment criteria in the expert questionnaire. Working documentation, including expert questionnaires for evaluating articles, are internal documents of the editorial office; they are not subject to publication and discussion with bidders. The activity of the competition committee is based on the principles of voluntariness, objectivity, independence, professional competence.

* For authors who ordered a printed copy # 2 (6) "Scientific horizons" journal will send a printed certificate of the participant of the competition. The rest of the participants will be sent an electronic certificate of participation in the competition.
