Separate reconnaissance company. The difference between the DShB and the Airborne Forces: their history and composition

Airborne units and connections

When section Soviet army, practically each of the former republics, wished to have airborne units as part of their armed forces, but most of them went to Russia.

Nevertheless, some of the landing units and formations of the already former Soviet Army went to Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan. Paratroopers from groups of forces abroad and from the Baltic states were withdrawn to the territory of Russia.

The landing units and formations of the newly formed Russian Army practically repeated similar units and formations of the Soviet Army:

    Airborne troops, together with separate airborne brigades and battalions of district subordination that entered them;

    Airborne reconnaissance companies and reconnaissance airborne battalions of the Ground Forces;

    Formations, units and subdivisions of the special purpose of the GRU GSh;

Commandant's offices and airborne support companies of the Air Force.

All of them could be used in airborne assault on enemy territory.

In the first years of independence, the Armed Forces, like the entire Russian society, did not avoid chaos and collapse. Numerous reforms were carried out, which, together with personnel appointments and officials in the Ministry of Defense only increased the chaos.

As a result of a series of reforms and reductions, airborne troops In several stages, the airborne brigades were brought back to the subordination of the district commanders - these brigades again became separate airborne assault brigades. Many units were reduced, others were reorganized, others were transferred to another subordination ... However, despite all the difficulties, the troops managed to maintain their combat effectiveness and airborne spirit, which they successfully demonstrated in the hostilities that began soon in the North Caucasus.

Serious development impact Armed Forces rendered two wars in Chechnya and participation in peacekeeping operations. New staffs were developed, new weapons and equipment were received, combat experience grew.

At present, the Russian paratroopers are trained and trained, they are armed with modern military equipment and are ready to carry out any command mission at any time.

Airborne troops

In 1992, the Airborne Forces ensured the evacuation of the Russian embassy from the city of Kabul (Republic of Afghanistan). On the basis of the Airborne Forces, the first russian battalion the UN peacekeeping force in Yugoslavia. From 1992 to 1998, the parachute regiment carried out peacekeeping tasks in the Republic of Abkhazia.

In the period 1994-1996 and 1999-2004, all formations and military units of the Airborne Forces participated in hostilities on the territory of the Chechen Republic. For courage and heroism, the title of Hero of Russia was awarded to 89 paratroopers.

In 1995, on the basis of the airborne troops' formations, peacekeeping contingents were formed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in 1999 - in Kosovo.
By the end of the 90s, the Airborne Forces had four airborne divisions, one airborne brigade, a training center and support units.

Since 2005, the Airborne Forces have formed three components:

    Airborne (main) component - two airborne divisions (98 Guards Airborne Division and 106 Guards Airborne Division of two-regiment composition);

    The airborne assault component - two airborne assault formations (76 guards dshd two-regimental composition and 31 guards single brigade three-battalion composition);

Mountain component - 7th Guards. airborne assault division (mountain).

The airborne forces receive modern armored weapons and equipment (BMD-4, SPTP "Sprut") and Kamaz vehicles.

Since 2005, units of formations and military units of the Airborne Forces have been actively participating in joint exercises with units of the armed forces of China, India, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Germany and Kazakhstan.

In August 2008, the military units of the Airborne Forces took part in the operation to force Georgia to peace. (The paratroopers operated in the Ossetian and Abkhazian directions).
Two formations of the Airborne Forces (the 98th Guards Airborne Division and the 31st Separate Guards Airborne Assault Brigade) became part of the CRRF.

At the end of 2009, on the basis of separate anti-aircraft missile artillery divisions, separate anti-aircraft missile regiments were formed in each division. At the initial stage, air defense systems entered service ground forces, in the future they will be replaced by landing systems. By 2012, it is planned to form third airborne regiments as part of the divisions.

In 2010, the paratroopers performed special tasks to strengthen the protection of the Russian Kant airbase on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

Airborne assault units of the Ground Forces

In 1989-90, separate airborne assault brigades and separate airborne assault battalions were included in the USSR Airborne Forces. Some of these brigades were immediately disbanded, and the rest were reorganized according to the new states into separate airborne brigades.
In this form, they became part of Russian Army.
However, according to the reformers, Russia did not need such large amphibious troops, and starting in 1996, the Airborne Brigade began to gradually disband.
56 Guards. The ovdbr was reorganized into 56 guards. dshp and already as a regiment became part of the 20th motorized rifle division.
21 ovdbr became part of the 7th guards. airborne as 247 pdp.

From the "former power" of the brigades, there were 83 airborne brigades and 11 airborne brigades, which were withdrawn from the airborne forces and departed, as before, in the service of the District Commander. As a result of these measures, they again became separate airborne assault forces.

In 2009 it was announced that as a result military reform it is planned to deploy an airborne assault brigade in each military district.
According to these plans, 56 Guards. dshp was withdrawn from the 20th mechanized infantry division and deployed to a brigade while retaining the previous name - 56 guards. odshbr.

Reconnaissance and landing units of the Ground Forces

The tank and motorized rifle divisions, as well as in the Soviet Army, included separate reconnaissance battalions, one of whose companies - a reconnaissance and landing company, was intended for deep reconnaissance and sabotage behind enemy lines in the zone of action of this division. It was supposed to deliver them to the rear of the enemy, incl. and by parachute.

As a result of the reforms in the Russian Army, begun in 2009, the divisions were transformed into brigades, respectively, battalions into companies. Unfortunately, there was no place for reconnaissance and landing companies in the new state.

Formations and parts of special purpose GRU GSh

Structures special purpose The GRU has suffered the least from the numerous reforms since 1992. Special Forces brigades were retained, but separate companies of the Army Special Forces often "fell under the knife" of the reformers.

In 2009, as a result of the reform, 67 obrspn were disbanded.

Commandant's offices and airborne support companies of the Air Force

In the regiments and divisions of military transport aviation, even in Soviet times, there were units that were intended to ensure the landing of troops on enemy territory. The fighters of these units landed primarily together with the reconnaissance of the Airborne Forces.

In the Russian Army, nothing has changed in this regard, and KDO and RDO remained part of the VTA. But due to their small number and shortage of personnel, they were practically not used in exercises with the participation of the Airborne Forces..

Airborne flag 162nd separate reconnaissance company (162 ORR 7th Airborne Division)

Reconnaissance companies have always stood out for their special qualities, even in such elite troops as the airborne. Perhaps less is known about the scouts of the Airborne Forces than about other units. But this is not surprising, the specifics of the combat missions of the reconnaissance companies are often secret in nature. And the scouts themselves are unlikely to shout loudly about their belonging to these units. Otherwise, they would not have been scouts - shadows that terrify the enemy.

162 orr 7th guards division Airborne forces

Like all reconnaissance companies of divisional subordination, the fate of the 162 ORR largely repeats the path of its division. The unit begins its countdown from October 1948, when the 7th Guards. The VDD was formed in the ancient Belarusian city of Polotsk.

A significant period of 162 orr is associated with the city of Kaunas in the Lithuanian SSR, where the unit was transferred soon after its formation. Despite the fact that the Great Patriotic War ended, the 162 reconnaissance company had a lot of combat work in its main specialty. The fact is that for a long time on the territory of the Lithuanian SSR the group of “forest brothers” - Lithuanian nationalists who did not recognize Soviet power - did not lay down their arms.

The late 40s - early 50s were a period of regular operations to identify and destroy these illegal armed groups. Despite the difficult woodland that the enemy knew very well, the 162 Orr played a significant role in the destruction of the bandit groups.

The Hungarian events of 1956 and the Czechoslovak events of 1968 also demanded active action from the paratroopers of the "Seven", in the consolidated formations of which 162 Orr Airborne Forces were also present.

Repeatedly 162 reconnaissance company took part in large-scale command exercises, and personnel were sent to various reconnaissance formations of the Airborne Forces for mountain training and other special purposes.

At the end of the 80s, 162 orr were in Baku, carrying out tasks to restore order and prevent major interethnic clashes between Armenians and Azerbaijanis.

162 reconnaissance company in Novorossiysk

In August 1993, the 7th Guards. the airborne division, and with it the 162 ORR, leave the bases in Kaunas and Marijampole and redeploy to Novorossiysk and Maikop.

From 1993 to 1996, the personnel of the company were sent to the zone of settlement of the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict.

During the first chechen war 162 ORR carries out combat missions in Grozny, Shatoi and Vedeno.

From 1994 to 2004, 162 reconnaissance companies are also located in Chechnya and Dagestan, where they take an active part in the elimination of illegal gangs and radical Islamists.

From 1995 to 1996, the reconnaissance company was deployed up to a battalion (162 orbs). This experiment, carried out in 5 airborne divisions, was recognized as unsuccessful and on September 24, 1996, 162 orbs were again reformed into 162 orbs (military unit 96686).

From December 1, 2010, 162 reconnaissance company entered into the management of the 7th Guards. airborne assault division.

We briefly talked about the fate of such a little known to a wide range of interested history of the Airborne Forces divisions as the 162nd separate reconnaissance company. For veterans of 162 orr this is a good reason to remember the years of service, and the younger generation may think about getting to serve in 162 orr.

There is a big myth about the belonging of the reconnaissance units of the ground forces to the units of the Airborne Forces. (Airborne Forces) This issue is not the first time that all the Association of Veterans of the Airborne Forces of the Russian Federation have been affected. At first glance, it seems that there is nothing special here, but if you think about it more deeply, it becomes clear that in the ranks of the veterans of the Airborne Forces there are real "mummers" (disguised). "Masked paratroopers" mainly assign units and subunits of the ground forces to the regiments and airborne divisions... This, in turn, causes a huge controversy in our circle. Taking into account the fact that the reconnaissance landing companies (RDR), separate reconnaissance battalions (ORB) are part of motorized rifle divisions and brigades, they have nothing to do with the Airborne Forces. The Airborne Forces today are an independent branch of the military (the Reserve of the Supreme High Command) and are not subordinate to the command of the ground forces. Therefore, various units of the ground forces were not and cannot be part of the Airborne Forces. A prime example serves the fact that those who served (demobilized) in the 907th separate reconnaissance battalion vehemently ascribe themselves to the winged guard and shout loudly that they served in the Airborne Forces. This cannot be! The 907th separate reconnaissance battalion (ORB city of Totsk) is part of the 27th motorized rifle division (MSD) and is primarily a motorized rifle reconnaissance formation. I would like to emphasize motorized riflemen! Since when are motorized rifles related to the Airborne Forces? If their training program includes parachute jumping, then this does not say anything. And the Marines do jumps from the Military Transport Aviation (VTA), but they do not identify themselves as an Airborne Force. And it is not surprising that on the second of August the "paratroopers" are distorting the moral image of the Airborne Forces. The composition of the airborne troops of the Russian Armed Forces includes three main components: airborne assault; airborne; airborne assault mountain Division 7th guards airborne assault (mountain) division (until January 2006 - airborne) (Novorossiysk) 76th guards airborne assault division (until January 2006 - airborne) (Pskov) 98- I Guards Airborne Division (Ivanovo) 106th Guards Airborne Division (Tula) Brigades 31st Guards Separate Airborne Assault Brigade (Ulyanovsk) (until May 1, 1998 - 328th and 337th Guards parachute - airborne regiments of the 104th Guards airborne division) There are also air assault brigades of district subordination, which were not part of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces, but since the fall of 2013 they were brought into the Airborne Forces of the Russian Federation. RF 11th separate airborne assault, 56th separate airborne assault, 83rd separate airborne assault, 100th guards separate airborne brigade, they are the equivalent of motorized rifle troops that are part of the ground forces that do not have a The Airborne Forces does not have any relationship, but the command of the Airborne Forces decides questions of personnel and material support. There are also reconnaissance companies and battalions of tank units and motorized rifle troops (907 ORB, the city of Totsk), these units in the training program have airborne training, but they are also not part of the Airborne Forces. The reconnaissance and airborne companies of the Marine Corps, tank and motorized rifle troops are not part of Airborne Forces. Today is the day of the military intelligence officer in Russia. Happy holiday friends, good luck and health to you! All this you need in your profession - a military intelligence officer.

Below is a report of a comrade about them, about the guys from intelligence. A couple of my remarks.
First, I don’t understand why tank scouts need parachute jumps? For this, there are specialists, airborne forces and special forces. It would be better to learn to crawl more on the ground. And then even the rate of jumps per year is higher than the landing force had.
The second - the violation of the senior driver's clothing was striking: the landing vest under the unbuttoned collar.
The third is on questions. The author of the report is outraged that from year to year they ask the same questions about the life of soldiers. To this I want to say that everything comes from the top. Do they start the day and, inventing, talk about it? Footcloths, ankle boots, irons and washing machines to the barracks. And the press picks up all this. People are just interested.
Something like this. However, read the report

A group of scouts awaiting a command to capture the command-staff vehicle of a simulated enemy

It so happened that professional holidays and memorable days established in our armed forces mainly fall in the fall. Another significant date was November 5 - the day of the military intelligence officer. Many sources on the Internet claim that this date was not chosen by chance. It was on this day in 1918 that the Registration Department was formed to coordinate the efforts of all intelligence agencies of the Red Army. The initiator of this innovation was Leon Trotsky, at that time the chairman of the Revolutionary Military Council.

Whatever one may say, but this year the soldiers of the invisible front are celebrating the 95th anniversary of their legendary profession. The term is considerable and this circumstance makes me return to the army again. They didn't have to go far: the nearest Moscow region - the city of Naro-Fominsk - the 4th Guards Tank Division - the 137th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion.

Officers of the 137th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion explain to young soldiers the procedure for collecting the D-6 parachute

At the appointed time, I arrived at the parade ground of the division. Here soldiers and officers were already bustling with might and main - classes were underway on packing parachutes. Imagine, tankers (reconnaissance battalion) are preparing to jump and learn to fold parachutes. My first question sounded quite adequate: For what? In response, I received an equally adequate, short and capacious answer: the number of tasks has increased! It turns out that since 2010, soldiers of the military intelligence have been making parachute jumps. Every scout must now land from the air. Since this year, by order of the command, the number of jumps during the year has been doubled: there were 6, made 12. This is now the order in the tank forces.

Officers of the 137th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion demonstrate to young soldiers the procedure for collecting the D-6 parachute

Then there were demonstration performances on hand-to-hand combat... Here, as always, it is spectacular, beautiful and harmonious. Out of the ordinary: recently, fighters have begun to use some elements from karate-kyokushinkai. I do not know how much this will affect the combat capability of the scouts, but it sounds somehow formidable and, I hope, it will have an effect on a potential enemy.

Soldiers of the reconnaissance company of the 13th tank regiment demonstrate their skills in karate-kyokushinkai

Soldiers of the reconnaissance company of the 13th tank regiment demonstrate techniques with weapons

Soldiers of the reconnaissance company of the 13th tank regiment demonstrate hand-to-hand combat techniques

After hand-to-hand combat, we went to a well-known place in the area of the village of Golovenki - the division's range. At the training ground, we were promised to demonstrate known methods for obtaining the necessary information about the enemy and some of the skills and tasks of modern military scouts... While we were driving to the training ground, I managed to look through my mail while waiting for questions about the announcement of my trip to the legendary tank division.

These are the typical questions I received from one of the readers:
Are showers installed in the barracks? What quality are they? Do the fathers-commanders let the personnel near them? Or are they just for show? Have you installed washing machines? Is there a buffet and afternoon nap? And what is the qualitative impact of all this on combat training? What are the conscripts wearing? What are they on guard duty, especially in winter? And, to be honest, are they involved in solving the economic problems of the unit? Well, it's like sweeping, digging a cable, etc.

It's not entirely clear to me why nothing changes from year to year, and readers ask the same questions. To be honest - tired! When I go into the army, I try to sniff out everything about combat training and the strength of the spirit of the fighters, and not the smell of their armpits and the degree of rancidity of their socks. My personal opinion: every young soldier must be mentally prepared for military service. And he should not be afraid of such inconveniences in the army as cold water, lack of sleep in the afternoon quiet hour and some chores. Despite this, I will continue to monitor the living and material conditions of service for all categories of servicemen!

Answering the questions of a specific reader, I report what I learned and saw on my own:

There are shower cabins, two for each location. Nobody forbids washing in showers. I didn't have time to find out about the washing machines. The buffet is planned to be launched in the near future. I did not elaborate on the dream. Shod in ankle boots - I saw it myself. I don't know about all the chores, but during my stay in the unit - on October 31, a group of people in civilian clothes removed the leaves from the trees. The division's reconnaissance battalion is currently in the stage of formation. Perhaps the reader will be somewhat reassured by the fact that conscripts are returning to the battalion, but on a contract basis.

The senior driver of the 137th separate reconnaissance battalion Artem Panteleev (right) explains to the young soldier how to prevent a gasoline leak from the car's gas tank

I managed to get to know one of them - Muscovite Artem Panteleev, senior driver of the reconnaissance battalion. Served urgently in 2003-2005. In June this year, he signed a contract. When asked why he returned to the army, he replied that he missed the army adrenaline. During the courses on surviving for contract soldiers, Artyom managed to get to know a girl soldier. She is also a contract soldier - a paramedic in the 12th tank regiment. Monetary allowance - 33 thousand. Satisfied. In the spring of next year they are going to have a wedding, they are already expecting a child. This is how the guy settled down. I think that he has found his place in life and will not disappear in the army for sure!

Operator N prepares to launch an unmanned aerial vehicle

Returning to the demonstration exercises at the training ground, I report that we were demonstrated the basic skills, knowledge and skills of military intelligence officers of the Kantemirovskaya tank division: shooting from various types of weapons, launching unmanned aircraft, the capture of the command vehicle, mine-search activities, training of two snipers, and the most exciting thing for me was the obstacle course. And here a special thanks to the soldiers and officers of the reconnaissance company of the 13th tank regiment. They got pissed off, made a sensation, shot pretty, effectively and beautifully. In order to somehow feel the atmosphere of combat training and the fortitude of some of the scouts of the legendary tank division, I invite all readers of my magazine to see my photographs from the scene.

Elite of the Russian army

Victory Day, like other big holidays, in Sevastopol is difficult to imagine without the participation of the soldiers of the reconnaissance landing company. It is they who, during the celebration, demonstrate hand-to-hand fights on a specially installed pontoon, followed by thousands of Sevastopol residents and guests of the city.

Tall, strong, in camouflage, with camouflage paint on their faces, the scouts break a storm of deserved applause from grateful spectators. They are used to judge the preparation and training of the "black berets" of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. They are the face and elite of the Marine Brigade.

Special unit

During the reconstruction of the assault on Sapun Mountain on the eve of Victory Day, thousands of Sevastopol and Black Sea residents gather on steep slopes and a viewing platform. And when the battle with the participation of the uniformists ends, the eyes of the people are directed precisely to the marines of the Black Sea Fleet. At demonstration performances, one pair replaces another. Fights one against two are not uncommon. Dizzying throws, swift hand-to-hand combat techniques, including the use of edged weapons, cannot but cause admiration among numerous spectators. The perfection and delicacy of the actions of the marines is behind the enormous daily work, hard training, the will to win.

All this action is being closely watched by the commander of the reconnaissance landing company (RDR), Captain Sergei Bordov. The tenacious gaze of an experienced officer captures the roughness, mistakes in the work of the fighters. At the same time, he is a little worried that the guys, having gone into a rage, do not go beyond what is permitted and observe the rules of the game. After all, the commander is responsible for the safety and health of each of them. Everything should be injury-free.

On the ground, Sapun Mountain is not the most difficult test. Here the fall is softer than on the parade ground, the scouts admit. But they traditionally, from year to year, perform them on the parade ground, in full view of the fleet commander, members of the military council, distinguished guests, during demonstration performances. This is the "trick" of the whole holiday. And not ordinary spectators, but professionals are watching the hand-to-hand fighters, meticulously evaluating every throw, every technique.

Now let's talk about the elite unit of the "black berets" in more detail. The reconnaissance and landing company is a special unit of the Marine Corps Brigade, under the command of the Hero of Russia, Colonel Vladimir Belyavsky. Special due to the tasks being solved. These people must be able to act in isolation from the main forces, day and night, in any terrain conditions, be it mountains, rocks, forest, field, seashore or steppe. They need to be strong physical fitness, endurance, ability to own different kinds weapons, navigate a complex and rapidly changing environment. The scouts must be observant, collect information, analyze the situation, draw general conclusions, be super mobile and gather in a matter of minutes on alarm. Jump to the airfield, and you are already in the air, flying to a given area, in order to then land at the desired point and complete the assigned task. Each of the company fighters is trained universally. One of the main tasks of the unit is anti-terror. And only strong and well-trained specialists can successfully counter terrorists. It is not said for a catchphrase.

The characters are full-length ...

Here are the long-standing traditions of high-quality training of fighters. I have written more than once about Captain Anatoly Gromysh, who commanded this elite unit for many years before the current commander. On account of his more than 260 parachute jumps. For comparison: the commander of an airborne assault battalion will not have even fifty of them. This is not to say that the latter is not a professional. It's just that airborne training in a company is one of the main areas of focus, there can be no other way.

Of course, there is also a personal factor - the commanding initiative. It's just that Captain Gromysh believed: you can fully demand from your subordinates when you yourself are competent and several orders of magnitude higher in vocational trainingthan they are.

If we talk about authority, then he was indisputable with Captain Gromysh. In the Black Sea Fleet, besides him, there was no officer who twice took part in the All-Army Conference of Young Officers. And, as you know, the best are sent there. And he never boasted about it, did not flaunt, but modestly and to the maximum did his military work.

And here it is difficult to overestimate the role of the company commander, officer link.

It is unusual for me to write about Gromysh as a company commander in the past tense. Unfortunately, he recently completed military service, health was not unlimited. But he left a good memory of himself and a whole galaxy of highly trained specialists. An ode could be written about Anatoly's boundless love and devotion to the Marine Corps. After completing his military service here, he decided to become an officer and after graduating from the higher naval school he got to his native Black Sea Fleet... And not just anywhere, but in the elite brigade of missile boats, the service in which many dream of. And all would be nothing. Only he was unbearably bored of his former duty station. And very soon he wrote a report with a request to transfer him from an elite brigade of missile boats to a regiment of marines.

They did not want to let go of the intelligent officer. Then he wrote a new report, but he also flew into the basket ...

- I'll still be in the Marine Corps! The officer said firmly and unambiguously.

After several reports and a long conversation with the brigade commander, Anatoly was transferred to the Marine Corps. Probably, the coolest units of "black berets" are supported by such fans. Here for him everything was familiar and familiar. Rigid daily routine, service from dawn to dawn, enormous physical exertion and great responsibility for subordinates. Gromysh was not afraid of difficulties. They build a strong character and unite the team. Weaklings, we repeat, do not hold on here ... I became convinced of this when I met Sergei Bordov, at that time the deputy company commander. He was also the deputy for airborne training. From the iron shake of the hand of this tall, broad-shouldered officer during our acquaintance, my fingers cracked treacherously. A candidate for master of sports in boxing, first-class in hand-to-hand fighting, he, like Anatoly Gromysh, began his military service in the brigade's reconnaissance battalion. And both captains remember the science of winning and the school of their first commanders Alexander Groshev and Pavel Tursukov.

Behind Sergei was two years of urgent, when he was offered to stay on extra urgent. Since then, he has come a long and thorny path. Sergeant, senior sergeant, warrant officer, senior warrant officer, company technician position ... Then he graduated from the courses of junior lieutenants, became an officer, commanded a platoon for several years, received a higher education in absentia, became a deputy company commander ... This is a man who learned service from the inside, became a professional sense of the word. Today he successfully commands an airborne reconnaissance company, continuing the traditions of his experienced predecessor Gromash ...

How many were during this time. How many times has he participated in various peacekeeping operations, general naval exercises. For example, he was still on military service, when Russian peacekeepers took the path of ending the bloodshed between Georgia and Abkhazia. And what was the cost of the operation to rescue our peacekeepers on the Zubr - landing ship on an air cushion, in which at that time a senior lieutenant, and now the commander of a marine brigade, Hero of Russia, Colonel Vladimir Belyavsky, participated! This operation has become somewhat textbook. Sergei Bordov was also a direct participant in it. The end of summer and the entire fall of 1993 were very hot. From month to month there was an accumulation of combat experience, which cannot be bought for any money and which is especially valuable in the family of marines ...

In his famous company, Captain Sergei Bordov is paratrooper number 1, he has more than 300 jumps from the Mi-8 helicopter, An-2, An-26, Il-76 aircraft. And the first he did back in 1992, and since then he remembers with a kind word the head of the airborne service of the brigade, Major Gennady Meleshkevich, his first teacher and mentor. Nowadays Bordov is a parachute all-rounder, is a member of the Black Sea Fleet team in this sport and has perfectly mastered such types of parachutes as D-6 series "4" (landing), D-10, D-1-5U, UT-15 (sports class), PO-16 (planning shell), PO-17. And, it seems, he knows everything about parachuting, and he performs jumps with great desire and enthusiasm. And most importantly, he thoroughly prepares the soldiers, because any jump is an extremely responsible matter. Judge for yourself: landing on an ordinary canopy with an area of 83 square meterswhen the speed of descent is 5 meters per second, it's like jumping without a parachute from the second floor. What can we say about more difficult jumps when the paratrooper is loaded to capacity: with weapons, ammunition, equipment ?!

Airborne training is a whole science that does not tolerate amateurism and cowardice. A parachute is the lot of people who are strong and in love with the sky. However, in general, the training of scouts is a matter for the best of the best officers, such as the former and current commanders of this company ...

Tradition does not go into stock

Personal commanding example is in the first place here. Sergey Bordov, along with the whole company, regularly runs 6-7-kilometer cross-country runs to the area Chersonesos lighthouse. The scouts also run to the place of tactical and fire training in order to get additional training and gain training time.

It must be said that the officers of the company stand out for their professionalism, experience, the ability to perfectly shoot from all types of standard weapons, quickly hit targets, control a parachute in the sky, win in hand-to-hand combat, grasp information on the fly, analyze it, and draw the right conclusions.

Here one cannot but recall the senior warrant officer Alexander Dontsu, who enjoyed great prestige, passed the crucible of Chechnya and was awarded two medals "For Courage". By age, he is older than all the officers of the company, and for the eyes of Alexander Mikhailovich the marines lovingly called "the father of the company." He is really suitable for the youth as fathers. And one is worth three in strength, skill and combat experience. Even now, after his recent transfer to the reserve, he often appears in his native company. His experience and advice are always in demand.

It is on such as Gromysh, Bordov, Donetsu that the victorious spirit of the reconnaissance landing company, its unshakable authority, glorious traditions, and high achievements are kept.

Under the conditions of the most intense combat training, officers in a company grow professionally quickly, someone goes up to promotion. Senior Lieutenant Yevgeny Dandanov, for example, for four years of service in the RDR firmly stood on his feet, made more than 30 parachute jumps, participated in exercises several times, and gained considerable commanding experience.

It was not without reason that it was Evgeny Dandanov who was subsequently appointed to the post of commander of a flamethrower company, which appeared in the brigade in the course of bringing it to a new look. Lieutenant Alexander Kopylov was appointed to replace Dandanov. After graduating from the Far East Higher Military Command School named after Marshal Soviet Union K. Rokossovsky, he was a platoon commander in the marine battalion of Lieutenant Colonel Igor Samoilenko. Here he showed himself, gained experience and was assigned to a reconnaissance landing company.

Another platoon commander, Senior Lieutenant Anatoly Tashkin, who graduated from the same school, before the RDR managed to serve in the Marine Corps battalion of Lieutenant Colonel Vadim Shurygin, whose subordinates on ships and ships of the fleet furrowed thousands of nautical miles.

The officer's right hand rightfully became the platoon commander Sergei Konyashkin. And Tashkin's platoon is no less athletic than Kopylov's. Here they remember well the junior sergeant Yegor Fisun - master of sports in boxing, sailor Dmitry Alekseev - candidate for master of sports in Thai boxing, sailor Yakov Cherkasskikh - candidate for master of sports in freestyle wrestling and discharger in hand-to-hand fighting. They made up the platoon's sports glory for many months. Their baton was continued by other black berets. For example, the squad leader, senior sailor Vitaly Magdin, master of sports in boxing, and others.

It should be noted that Captain Bordov's company is in no way inferior to the whole battalion in terms of the number of dischargers, especially in martial arts. Of course, there is a hand-to-hand combat instructor - this is the first-class senior sailor Vyacheslav Daineko. He professionally prepares his comrades for fights with the enemy.

So the Bordova company takes not in numbers, but in quality, skill. And this applies not only to athletes-graders, but also to children with higher education... In the platoon of Lieutenant Kopylov, this is, for example, the senior sailor of the contract service Igor Dmitriev, who has a higher legal education... I also remember the junior sergeant of contract service Sergei Chekanov more. He graduated from the Moscow Suvorov School and studied for three and a half years at a military university, where, in addition to other disciplines, he successfully studied Greek and english languages... Fate made a sharp zigzag, and he left the university. True, he did not give up the desire to finish his studies and become an officer. And this desire arose for him right here, in the RDR.

... The reconnaissance landing company is the embodiment of mobility and professionalism. After the alarm, not even half an hour passes, as the marines with full ammunition on the "armor" follow to the waiting area for loading, to the air garrison. The runway, the compartment of a transport plane, the usual smooth hum of engines. Time to land. According to the worked out scheme, the marines leave the plane, go into the sky. They must appear where the enemy is not waiting for them in order to preempt him. Capture and hold an important object until the main forces arrive. From the sky - into battle. While the main forces are advancing from the sea after landing on an unequipped coast.

However, the landing of airborne assault forces behind enemy lines is only one of the tasks being practiced. And then there are ambushes, raids, search and other purely specific tasks that require special knowledge, special training. It is one of the main naval anti-terror units. And only people who are endlessly devoted to their difficult profession, to the cause to which they are given themselves entirely, without a trace, can master these tasks.
