Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation

The date of creation of the university is November 5, 1994. The university was established on the basis of the Military Academy of Economics, Finance and Law of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Humanitarian Academy of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. This association was the first experience in creating a single educational institution that trains officers in such different directions.

VUMO RF prepares specialists for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, for all executive authorities and for the armed forces of 22 countries of the near and far abroad.

In 2003, the first ever higher military education was organized off-budget faculty to study at paid basis civilians. From year to year this faculty is becoming more and more popular.
