On November 17, 2017, the institute hosted a methodological conference "Topical issues of educational and methodical work Institute ", which was attended by the teaching staff of the departments of the Institute, staff of the educational department and other structural units institute.

The participants of the methodological conference discussed:

Participants expressed different views on important issues of quality improvement educational process, exchanged work experience and new ideas.

At the end of the methodological conference, the teacher of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, Police Major O.V. Finikova conducted psychological training with all those present, aimed at self-knowledge, motivating for self-improvement and mastering communicative competence.

The greatest interest among the participants of the methodological conference was aroused by the presentation of an interactive thematic quest on the academic discipline "History of the Internal Affairs Bodies" (authors: Senior Lecturer of the Department of State and Legal Disciplines, Police Major N.A. Ryazanova, Ph.D. in Law; Senior Laboratory Assistant of the Department of State and Legal Disciplines N A. Borovik). The participants were invited to become characters in a detective story - three brilliant detectives: I.D. Putilin, A. Bertillon and A.F. Cat. In order to detain a person who has committed an unlawful act, detectives need to follow in his footsteps, solving complex problems and answering questions, collect evidence, evidence and present the culprit to the jury. The author's stylized props made the game more entertaining.
