What documents are needed for admission to the institute. What is needed to enter a university on a budget? Papers for preferential categories of applicants

As soon as a student receives a school leaving certificate, he has to forget about the usual holidays. He is forced to completely plunge into adult life... Since, instead of a carefree rest, he has to prepare for entering a higher educational institution. And in order to enter, you need to pass not only the Unified State Exam, but also collect the necessary documents.

We start preparing

The algorithm for preparing for admission looks like this:

 1. Are you planning to enter a medical, technical or humanitarian institute?
 2. Gathering all required documents and submitting them to the chosen educational institution on time.
 3. Preparation and delivery of the exam.

What do you need to enter the institute before you start collecting the necessary documents? The answer is to choose an educational institution!

Where to begin

The collection of all the necessary reliable information is the key to the right choice of an educational institution that can provide higher education at the proper level.

 1. All licensed are accredited. And this is a guarantee of receiving a diploma upon graduation. Therefore, if we are talking about non-state educational institutions, it is worth paying special attention to this.
 2. It is important to visit the university website, note for yourself what content is on the site, on its design, which will give some idea of how classes are organized, how students' extracurricular time passes. By visiting the site, you can find out the schedule of classes, which will help to understand what subjects the applicant will study by choosing one or another specialty.
 3. You must go to the forum. And get acquainted with both positive and negative reviews about the educational institution. They will help you create a realistic picture and finally make your choice.

Addition to the above

It is important to know that education in the country is free of charge, and the applicant has the opportunity to enter five educational institutions and three specialties at once. However, the number budget places limited and many of them have a large competition. Therefore, if the applicant won victories on school olympiads or received a gold medal for excellent graduation from school, he has the highest chances of becoming the proud owner of a budget place.

But there are also privileged categories of citizens who must be provided with budget places in universities. According to the law of the Russian Federation "On higher and postgraduate professional education", the following groups of citizens can apply for budgetary places:

 • Children under 23 years old who have lost their parents and left without their care.
 • Disabled children of groups I and II who may undergo training for health reasons.
 • Children who have only one guardian who is disabled of the 1st group, if the family budget is below the subsistence level.
 • Participants in military conflicts, soldiers who have completed military service and who have retired or served under a contract.

Moving

What is needed for admission to the institute for those who decided to study far from hometown? It is important for them to know if the educational institution has a hostel. Unfortunately, few can boast of this. Here is a list of documents that will be needed when checking into a hostel:

 1. Medical card with examination.
 2. Photocopy of passport and original.
 3. Completed contract.
 4. Three photographs 3 X 4.
 5. Paid order.
 6. Certificate that proves belonging to this university.

Day department

After school, the guys are more willing to go to study in the daytime department. Here's what you need to enter the institute t in this case:

 1. Application, where the applicant's data, desired specialty and department are registered. It is checked by members of the selection committee.
 2. The certificate and its photocopy, as well as a passport with a photocopy.
 3. Certificate of passing the exam... If you want to enter several universities at once, you can provide a certified and scanned copy of the certificate.
 4. Six photographs 3 X 4.
 5. Certificate from the medical facility (the so-called 086 form). Without it, no university will enroll.

Distance learning

The documents for admission to the institute for citizens who wish to study in absentia must be collected exactly the same. The same applies to those wishing to receive a second higher education in absentia, however, they need to add a diploma of higher education to the listed documents.

For those wishing to enroll in a magistracy, the list of documents is also similar. Except for two points:

 • the certificate is replaced by a bachelor's degree;
 • it is not necessary to provide a certificate on the 086 form, many institutions do not require it.

Exceptions

Young men, upon reaching 17 years old, become liable for military service. Therefore, for admission to the institute, they need to provide a certificate of registration or military ID.

But what is needed for admission to the institute for persons with disabilities The list of documents for them has some differences:

 • The conclusion, which is provided by the medical-psychological-pedagogical commission.
 • Certificate confirming disability.
 • A certificate that confirms that a citizen has no contraindications for studying at a university. It is issued by an institution that conducts medical and social examinations.

Foreigners

The rules for admission to the institute for foreigners are about the same, but guests from abroad have to not only collect documents, but also translate them, so their number is much larger. Here is a list of required documents:

 1. Application in Russian.
 2. Originals of educational documents, as well as their certified copies and translated into Russian.
 3. Identity document.
 4. A copy of the visa, if the foreigner needed it to enter.
 5. Six photographs 4 X 6.
 6. For foreigners with Russian nationality, documents that confirm the origin (nationality).

About the exam

In conclusion, a little about the Unified State Exam and how many points you need to score for successful admission. Of course, the day when the results are announced is very exciting and worrying for former high school graduates. National statistics show that the number of applicants to public places is more than 50% with an average USE score of 65. This means that college entrance scores for those who want to are not an obstacle and an obstacle on the way to the goal.

Passing score in the most prestigious universities countries - 90, the exception is MGIMO, where it is 95. These schools for applicants with exceptional knowledge and a high USE score.

The bottom line is this: whoever scored from 60 to 80 points can be guaranteed to get into a good institute that is not among the ten most prestigious in the country.

Conclusion

So what do you need to go to college? First of all, believe in yourself and your strengths, are not afraid of exams, set yourself a goal and achieve it. Collecting documents, passing exams, choosing an institute - this is just the tip of the iceberg. It is important for a former student to understand what he wants to achieve in life, who he sees himself in the future. After all, a diploma of higher education is one of the keys that give confidence in the future.

All the thoughts of high school students are occupied with the upcoming USE and admission to the university of dreams. Every year the requirements of universities change, and future students have more opportunities to apply for places in various educational institutions. You should not let everything take its course - as well as to final exams, you need to prepare carefully for admission.

Rules for admission to universities

Admission to a university is an exciting process, therefore, before choosing a university, it is worth considering a number of specific features in order to facilitate the choice of a future profession:

 • Unified State Exam. Each direction publishes in advance a list of exams required for admission. In general, three exams are required in different areas.
 • Passing score. For each exam, universities establish a minimum passing score required for consideration of documents upon admission.
 • Additional tests. Some higher educational institutions (for example, Moscow State University) or areas (for example, journalism) conduct their own internal exams in addition to the USE, to which future student must prepare.
 • Individual achievements. Additional bonus points (up to 10) are awarded for a gold medal, victories in olympiads, a gold TRP badge, volunteering and the successful writing of the December graduation essay.
 • The number of budget places. Do not forget that budget places at universities are intended for both applicants for competitive basis, as well as for beneficiaries, Olympiads and target groups. Therefore, the number of budget places declared by the university can be safely divided by two.
 • Specificity of directions. Specialties with the same name in different universities have different curricula. Published content can be found on university websites curriculaso that every applicant can get acquainted with what will be studying in the next four years.
 • Payment for study and dormitory. Before entering a university, it is necessary to assess the possibilities of paying for the commercial department. For nonresident students you should pay attention to the hostel, information about which is easy to find on official websites or groups in social networks.

How many universities can you apply for

The applicant has the right to apply for admission to 5 educational institutions in three specialties. When submitting to different universities at the same time, it is allowed to provide photocopies. Leave the originals for the priority specialty. If the applicant has special rights for enrollment (target direction, victories in university Olympiads), the corresponding copies become invalid - the originals are submitted only for one direction.

Admission procedure for prize winners of the Olympiads

High school victories or all-Russian Olympiads give students enrollment benefits. It should be remembered that you can use this privilege when applying for only one direction in accordance with the third paragraph of the 71st article of the Federal Law on education.

Admission to other universities and directions is carried out on a general basis.

What documents are needed for admission to a university

When choosing a university, you must personally or by mail send a package of documents to the selection committee. In addition to the application, the form of which the applicant can find on the website of the educational institution, you will need:

 • a copy of the passport or other document certifying the citizenship and identity of the future student;
 • school certificate or other certificate confirming the presence of primary, secondary or higher vocational education;
 • uSE certificate, if the applicant passed the exam;
 • medical certificate of the established form for some specialties (medical, pedagogical);
 • 2 photos if additional entrance exams are planned;
 • certificate of registration or military ID (if any).

If the applicant is a minor, the parent or guardian must sign a consent to the processing of personal data, without which documents for admission to the university will not be accepted for consideration. It is not necessary to submit only originals, especially if they are planned to be submitted to several educational specialties. Copies are not required to be certified by a notary. Some universities may require other documents (certificates of olympiads, competitions, etc.), which are specifically written about on the official sites.

Deadlines for accepting documents and enrollment

The deadline for submission of documents and the corresponding enrollment depends on the presence or absence of USE results from the applicant:

After conducting internal university exams, admission to budget places begins, which takes place in several stages. Dates of admission to the commercial department and correspondence form are determined independently by a specific university.

Terms of enrollment orders

Priority admission (applicants entering without exams, within a special, targeted quota)

Stage I of admission (in accordance with the position taken by the applicant in the list of applicants)

II stage of enrollment (filling in the remaining budget places after the first stage)

Submission methods

Submission of documents to the university does not always require a personal presence. The methods of filing are associated with the features that must be taken into account when choosing a future educational institution:

 1. Personal submission. In this case, the adult applicant submits all originals or copies to the admissions office without the presence of parents or guardian on a first-come, first-served basis.
 2. Submission by power of attorney certified by a notary. Confidant has the right to represent the interests of the applicant in the selection committee.
 3. Submission by registered mail with a mark of delivery. This method can take from five to seven days.
 4. Electronic filing. You must first fill out an application for admission and put a personal signature, then the document is scanned and sent by e-mail along with the rest of the copies. Consideration of the electronic application takes place 2-3 days after the receipt of copies by the educational institution.

The efforts and efforts of the applicant applied to admission can be completely canceled out by not going through the usual bureaucratic procedure - submitting documents. It's a shame when, due to ignorance or inattention, an applicant has to try his hand at the next year. To avoid such a fate, we suggest that you learn from this article what documents are needed to enter the university.

List of documents for admission to the full-time department

From year to year, this list remains unchanged - an applicant entering the full-time department must submit:

Statement

In some educational institutions it is printed in advance, and the applicant only has to sign. Others require handwriting. The content of the application usually boils down to a request to enroll a person in a specific direction, specialty, department, indicating personal and contact information. Difficulties in its preparation should not arise, since the writing of the application is controlled by the members of the selection committee and checked before the final acceptance.

Passport or identity document
Secondary general or special education document:
Certificate of passing the exam

It is issued after passing the unified state examination in the subjects chosen by the applicant, indicating the points received. It can be photographed, certified and kept for future admission attempts, and a copy can be handed over to the commission.

Photos

You will need 6 pieces, 3x4.

Medical certificate

Without form 086, you will not be accepted anywhere, and high uSE scores will not save. This certificate can be obtained at the polyclinic at the place of registration or at paid clinics that help to issue it quickly, but for a fee.

This help contains information about:

 • general health;
 • undergoing examination by specialists;
 • test results;
 • vaccination.

This is a universal package approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation No. 2895 dated December 28, 2011, which will be required at any university. In some cases, it can be supplemented with additional certificates, papers, etc.

What do correspondence students serve?

Prospective students for admission to extramural the documents are prepared the same as in the list above, taking into account the only point:

If an applicant wants to receive a second education in absentia, then instead of a document on obtaining secondary education, he provides a higher diploma.

What documents do you need to collect for a master's degree?

The list, again, is not noticeably different, except for two points:

 • instead of a certificate, you must provide a bachelor's degree;
 • many universities do not require a 086 y certificate for a master's degree, so check this point before bringing documents to the university.

If you have changed your last name

First of all, change your passport as required by law - within a month. A passport with an old name will not be accepted by the commission.

Other documents - a certificate, a diploma - do not have to be changed. Just provide them with a marriage certificate or a certificate of surname change.

If you are a person liable for military service

Men over 17 years of age are liable for military service, as well as some women because of their professional duties. In this case, a military ID or a certificate of registration must be attached to the documents.

Supplement for applicants with direction

For those who are heading to study at target locations or, as the people say, "by direction" you need to present the original:

 • target area;
 • confirmation of being on the list of target groups for a specific area.

People with disabilities and people with disabilities: what to cook for them?

People with disabilities are often given the opportunity to take exams directly at a higher education institution without passing the USE. This should be clarified in advance - even before recording for the session. If this information is confirmed at the university, it means that you do not need to provide a certificate of passing the exam.

But all the same, the list will definitely be supplemented with other documents:

 • the conclusion made by the medical-psychological-pedagogical commission;
 • a certificate of disability.

The last certificate will have to be enclosed in a package with documents and disabled people of I-II groups, and also - to take a certificate from a medical expert institution, stating that there are no contraindications for studying at a university.

Complete list of documents for foreigners

Foreigners collect much more documents than citizens of the Russian Federation, which is understandable - basically the number of pieces of paper increases due to translations of original documents.

And if in more detail, then a foreign citizen will need to submit to the commission of a Russian university:

 • application in Russian;
 • originals or duly certified copies of the education certificate;
 • its certified translation into Russian;
 • certification document;
 • a copy of the entry visa if a foreigner entered the Russian Federation through it;
 • 6 pieces of photos 4x6;
 • for foreign citizenswith Russian nationality - documents confirming nationality.

Remember that after accepting these papers, you must be given a receipt. After the end of the introductory campaign, all documents must be returned to you if you do not apply or refuse to study.

Standard package

For full-time study, you must collect a package of the following documents:

 1. Photocopy of passport... Notarization is not required even when sending documents by mail. The data are verified in the selection committee when submitting consent for enrollment, and for those who brought the documents in person - immediately on the spot.
 2. School certificate... Also a photocopy or scan. The original is required for enrollment. Applicants who are determined to participate in the competition only at a specific university can immediately submit the original.
 3. Application for admission... The form is established by the selection committee of each university.
 4. Photos... Provided from 2 to 6 pictures in 3x4 format. Usually, when submitting an application, they are needed only by those who participate in the competition based on the results of internal admissions tests. Others attach a photo to the enrollment consent application.
 5. Attribution certificate... If available - military ID (for guys).
 6. Medical certificate , if it is required for admission to certain areas or specialties. Usually it is also needed by those who plan to live in a hostel.
 7. College / technical school diploma(for college graduates).
 8. Documents confirming the right to benefits(if any) or certifying individual achievements (also subject to availability).

Paper certificates or any other evidence with uSE results when submitting documents are not required. It is enough to indicate your points in the application (for this, there are special blocks in the form) and to specify the results of which year to take into account when competitive selection, since the marks obtained at the unified state examination are valid for 5 years (in the year of passing + 4 following).

The data on the results of the exam are stored in a single federal system (FIS GIA and admissions), access to which is available to all admissions offices, and they are required to check the information specified by applicants. Moreover, you can use the results of different years: for example, the Russian language - for this year, and physics or any other subject - for the past or even the one before last.

Documents from candidates with disabilities

What documents are needed for admission to a university for applicants with disabilities health?

Often such candidates are physically unable to pass exams in the USE format, therefore special internal tests are provided for them, which are carried out directly at the university, where special conditions are organized taking into account the physiological disorders of the applicants. The list of subjects to be taken will depend on the chosen specialty.

So that the university can organize the appropriate conditions for passing entrance examinations, applicants with disabilities must attach a certificate of disability to the standard package of documents. Since 2017, a medical certificate from the Psychological and Pedagogical Commission (PMPK) about the opportunity to study at the chosen university and the Individual Rehabilitation Program (IPR) are no longer needed.

For disabled persons of groups 1 and 2

Since 2019, people with disabilities from childhood, as well as groups 1 and 2 and children with disabilities can enroll in five universities in three areas of training in each. Like other beneficiaries, applicants with disabilities can use the right to enroll within the 10 percent quota only in one training organization... The originals of documents are submitted to the institute or university (for a certain direction) in which the applicant intends to take advantage of the privilege. In other universities, people with disabilities of all categories can participate in the competition on a general basis.

Please note: the right to admission within the framework of special quotas can also be used by disabled persons of the 3rd group, if the documents submitted upon admission contain the wording “disabled since childhood” or “disabled due to military injury”.

Keep in mind: quotas (usually 10 percent) are set within the budget allocated to the university, and if their educational institution was not provided, accordingly, there can be no question of admission to a free form of education.

For admission to the magistracy

Master's applicants must submit the following documents to the university:

 1. Diploma confirming higher education (bachelor's level - for those who enroll for the first time).
 2. Application for admission to a university for master's programs (its form is approved by the educational institution).
 3. Identity document (original and copy).
 4. Photos 3x4 (from two to six shots).
 5. Help from the clinic (only for some specialties).
 6. If there are benefits, the corresponding certificate.

For correspondence department

The list of documents in this case is identical to the list for admission to the full-time department if the applicant enters the university for the first time.

If the applicant enters the correspondence course in order to receive it, it is enough for him to write an application and present the original diploma to the selection committee (only a copy of it is submitted). Some institutions insist on a certificate from the place of work.

Second higher education programs

 1. Statement.
 2. Photocopy of your passport.
 3. Diploma confirming the first higher education. If the document does not correspond to the state model, you must attach a copy of the university license and a copy of your specialty accreditation to it.
 4. A document listing the subjects you have already studied.
 5. Photos in 3x4 format (from four to six pieces).

If the surnames in the diploma and the application do not coincide (which is not uncommon for those entering universities for evening departments, and even more so for the second higher already at a fairly mature age), a document must be submitted confirming the grounds for changing the surname. A copy of it can be certified by the selection committee.

Ways of submitting documents to the university

Three ways of applying to a university are officially allowed:

 1. Personally. The most common way is when applicants come to the admissions office, fill out an application and give its members the entire package of documents.
 2. Sending documents by mail... A very convenient way for those who are going to study in another city. But it must be borne in mind that often correspondence is delayed, so it is better to send documents as early as possible, since the acceptance of applications ends at a strictly set time (for example, for full-time applicants for the Unified State Exam - on July 26 at 18:00 Moscow time), no matter how they are served.
 3. Sending documents over the Internet... The fastest way possible, which is welcomed by an increasing number of universities, but some educational institutions, including the presenters, still insist on the personal attendance of candidates. Therefore, check in advance if the university accepts documents in electronic form. If such an opportunity is provided, the website of the educational institution has instructions on how to do everything right - send it to the admissions office by e-mail, through personal Area the applicant or from a special page.

In May 2019, the Ministry of Education and Science announced the start of the development of a unified federal electronic complex "Online university entrance". On the portal it will be possible not only to remotely apply to the university, but also to get acquainted with the intermediate results of the admission campaign. The service will start working in stages: within two years - from 2020 to 2022 - it will be tested during admission to some specially selected universities. According to the plans of the Ministry of Education and Science, in 2024 it will be possible to submit documents via the Internet to all higher educational institutions of Russia.

01.05.2013

We strongly recommend that you read this article very carefully and several times. In it we will tell you about admission to higher educational institutions, how it happens, we will try to tell you about the pitfalls and give some advice.

Let's start with the fact that you were given a certificate, after which you were wonderfully lying in a puddle with a bottle of champagne. Congratulations. Half of the way is covered. Then you need to drink mineral water and collect documents, namely:

 1. Photocopy of passport
 2. Photocopy of the certificate and the original of the certificate
 3. Photocopy and original of the certificate of passing the exam (if any)

The original certificate of passing the exam may be issued to you very late, therefore, universities in 2012 accepted documents without it. Photos are NOT NECESSARY !!! They will be requested from you only after enrollment.

You have to choose 5 universities to which you are going to apply (6 universities will not accept documents from you, do not even try, even if they do, it will come up later, because admissions offices have all-Russian databases).

Immediately small lyrical digression... Many of you (yes, yes) are expecting some kind of official announcement of the 2013 passing score from universities. I hasten to disappoint you. There is no uncle in the admissions office of the university who points his finger at the sky and says that the 2013 passing score will be 210 points in total from 3 subjects (conditionally). What is a passing grade in general? The passing score is the score of the last applicant enrolled in the budget, that is, you will learn about passing score 2013, only after you are admitted or not enrolled. But more on that later.

As we have already said, you should not overestimate yourself in any case, even if you have 300 points with 3 USE. Perhaps all the places in front of you will be taken by beneficiaries, olympiads and target groups. So do not choose a bouquet from HSE, Moscow State University, RANEPA, MGIMO and St. Petersburg State University. Be sure to leave 1-2 universities for the "fallback" option, where, as a rule, there is a low admission rate.

So, you rubbed your eyes after graduation and went to your first university to apply. Apparently, you will immediately go to your favorite university. But, ATTENTION, most likely, your favorite university is the favorite university of thousands of applicants. Well, it just so happened. So what's going on? In the early days of admissions campaigns, everyone is amicably at the Higher School of Economics, Moscow State University, RANEPA, MGIMO, Finashka, etc., because these are just everyone's favorite universities. Accordingly, what's going on? In the early days of the work of admissions committees, we have huge queues at the leading universities. Therefore, I advise you not to rush headlong in the first days to your favorite universities, but to walk around for the "spare", and then, in the middle, when this excitement comes down from top universities, come calmly to the university of your dreams and calmly submit documents in an hour rather than 6, as it might happen.

So, you've come to college. In some universities you are given a ticket, in some there is a live queue, but not the essence. The first procedure you have to go through is to fill out an application. In normal universities, you are put in a classroom with many computers, you open a questionnaire and you fill it out electronically. Students help you, then print your questionnaire for you. Well, or in many universities, the questionnaire is filled out for you. A number of universities scoff at applicants and force them to manually write this statement, and they dig into the smallest mistakes. It can take about an hour to fill out the questionnaire alone if selection committee not organized at all.

So, you have the right to choose 3 competition groups (as a rule, there are several faculties in the competition group with the same entrance examinations and with similar topics). Those. You can choose 3 competition groups, and in this group there can be from one to infinite specialties. For instance. You have chosen 3 competitive groups, where there are 5 specialties in the 1st group, 3 specialties in the second group and 1 specialty in the 3rd group. Here you already have the right to choose all specialties in these 3 competitions. Those. it is real at one university to participate in 3 competitions in 9 directions. In many universities, most often, there is one direction in the competition group. If someone is unclear about something, ask in the comments. This is not trivial, feel free to ask again.

Also, the university will require you to arrange all these specialties in the descending order of "desire". For instance. You are entering economics. We came to the university, and there we have economics in one faculty, economics in another faculty and world economy (let's say). We need to arrange them as follows:

The first competition group (we want to get into this competition group most of all)

 1. Economy Faculty of Economics (we want here most of all)
 2. Economics of the General Faculty of Economics (we want to come here, but not so much)
 3. World Economy Faculty of Economics

The second competition group (we apply to this competition group because we passed the same exams, but just in case)

 1. Management at the enterprise of the Faculty of Light Industry
 2. Management in the sports industry of the Faculty of. Anastasia Volochkova
 3. Advertising and Public Relations

The third competition group (just submitted the documents)

 1. Law Faculty of Law

So, we have completed the application. We are cool. Submitted documents for 3 competition groups in 5 universities. Those. in total, you participate in 15 contests. Now attention. You are not the only one so fashionable and you participate in 15 contests. Let's imagine. You have 250 points with 3 USE (well, someone here will get 250 points). The score is not bad. Only here's the problem. Imagine that each applicant has applied for 15 competitions. We open the list of applicants, we find that you are standing with your (fairly good points) in the 1500th place, while your favorite specialty, your favorite university has 100 budget places. We go to cut the veins in the bathroom (this is not a call to suicide) or sob into the pillow, whoever we like. Only here's the catch. 14 out of 15 are really dead souls, they are just ticked boxes. Because one applicant at this stage of admission takes 15 places, but he really wants only one. Let's not talk about probabilities and that there are more popular universities and less popular universities. Let's take the average university. Suppose that we have exactly 14 out of 15 - these are dead souls (at HSE, for example, it is a little different, there, most likely, every 4th will remain on the budget). Nevermind. We are modeling the general situation. Being in the 1500th place, despite the fact that your specialty has 100 budgetary places, I can assure you that most likely you will pass on the budget, since 14 out of 15 are likely to leave. If you get confused, read it again, because it gets worse.

So, all applicants have submitted their documents. The time of the "first wave" is coming. We are sitting in our 1500 place in the university №1, in 2000 in the university №2, and in the 500th place in the university №3, etc. In this case, with the first wave we fly over. Let's go back to our university number 1, where we most want. As we have already found out, there are 100 budget places for our favorite specialty. Then there are 2 scenarios (different universities work according to different systems).

 1. The classic version. On the first wave, the university asks for originals of documents from the first hundred. In our case, every 15th person brings documents. 6 people will bring documents to the university by the specified date. There are still 84 budget places that will be “raffled off” in the second wave.
 2. Green wave. Some universities are making green waves. They calculate the probabilities (in about the same way as we described above, well, or on the basis of last year's data) and recommend not 100 people to be enrolled, but how many budget places, but 100 * (1 / the probability that a person will bring documents to them , specifically for this specialty). Well, they are also correcting for the worse for a safety net. In our case, we have. Let's say the university has calculated that this probability = 1/15 (every fifteenth will bring documents to them). Those. according to this logic, we should recommend for admission (request originals of documents) from the first 1500 people. Well, universities usually don't take much risk and make adjustments. In fact, a university can recommend 1000 applicants at once, despite the fact that we have 100 budget places.
 3. The most epic situation occurs when you are recommended for admission after the first wave to Reutov University of Leather Gloves and Marketing, and the university you wanted to do not recommend you for admission after the first wave. What's happening? Many applicants, having such a borderline score, run in panic to submit their originals to the Reutov University of Leather Gloves and Marketing (parents often force or in panic themselves that they will be left without a budget and carry documents there. Believe me, it will be so). You are safely enrolled there after the first wave, and on the second wave it turns out that you entered the university where you wanted. In this case, you have the right to revoke your documents (in fairness, we want to note that Reutov University of Leather Gloves and Marketing will not let you go so easily and, perhaps, you will stay there. Be careful and know your rights!). The second wave is coming. As a rule, on the 2nd wave they call almost everyone and ask you privately whether you will bring the original or not. In general, you need to constantly sit on the websites of universities or on the websites for applicants of these universities (if any) and be constantly in the subject, because they may not call. They have the right, well, or they will not get through by accident, or you specified the wrong phone number by mistake.
