According to Krushelnitsky, the myth of the Bermuda Triangle began when several large military convoys - and their subsequent rescue missions - disappeared in the region between the First and Second World Wars. In reality, these disappearances are due to terrible weather and inadequate aircraft equipment.
Some pilots who went missing on that day also made catastrophic mistakes, for example, often getting lost drinking alcohol before flying or even going on a journey without the appropriate aviation equipment.
In most cases, the bodies and debris were never found, but this is not surprising, given that they all fell into the ocean. Even today, the wreckage of aircraft and ships that fell into the ocean is very difficult to find, despite significant advances in reconnaissance and tracking technology.
