This death is what I fear the most. Is there life after death

The fear of death, or in other words thanatophobia, is a relatively mysterious and complex phobia. Almost all people are afraid to die, this deep, all-consuming fear dominates over all of us. Some are afraid of the termination of life, others are afraid of the process of dying itself, and still others are afraid of death as a mysterious and mysterious phenomenon. However, if such fear poisons your existence too much, then this can be the beginning of a full-scale phobia, or lead to the deepest depression.

Religiosity as a contributing factor

This fear in many people arises from their religious beliefs, especially if they are imposed. Most believers are confident that they know what will happen to them after their death, but are afraid to do something wrong. The saving path for them is very narrow and direct, so they fear that any mistakes or deviations along the way will lead them to endless torment.

All religions, in one way or another, try to console the person who suffers from depression associated with the awareness of mortality. Some offer soothing images of resurrection and “paradise” life, others claim that the soul is immortal and will definitely find its new embodiment in another body. Therefore, religious people are usually much less likely to suffer from depression caused by the expectation of death.

Religious beliefs are highly personalized, so even a therapist is not always able to understand the beliefs and beliefs of his client. If the depression is of a religious nature, it can be very helpful to consult with a spiritual mentor. But this should not be a substitute for the classic mental health consultation with a psychologist or psychiatrist.

The one who is afraid to live is afraid to die

No one has yet managed to fully cope with the awareness of their mortality. If someone you know claims to be absolutely calm about his “life after life,” it only means that he was able to find an effective strategy for denying reality, successfully sending his most important deep fear to the periphery of the mind. What will happen to such a person? As his fear remained in the subconscious, he begins to manifest in other forms, such as:

In any case, without accepting his own death, a person will be very afraid to live, trying to save himself from the need to die. It is not for nothing that psychotherapists believe that fear of death is at the root of almost all known phobic disorders and neuroses. The one who is afraid to live is afraid to die.

Awareness of mortality at different stages of life

The fear of death and the associated depression have several developmental periods corresponding to a person's life stages. All the depressions resulting from this fear are cyclical, they have a wave-like structure. Throughout life, they either fade out, then resume with renewed vigor.

Childhood. Psychoanalysts say that for the first time a child is faced with the fear of death at such an early age that he cannot express it in words. Falling autumn leaves, a deceased pet, the death of relatives - all this makes children think about the frailty of life. A little grown child often puts parents in a very difficult position, demanding to save them from death. Usually, parents, subconsciously experiencing the same panic horror before this phenomenon, fall into depression, not finding the appropriate words to explain to their offspring that everyone is dying. Therefore, they usually come up with some kind of stories, and the child calms down for a while. However, soon the question of his mortality arises with double force, and this happens in adolescence.

Teenagers. During this period, a person has many new problems that easily become the causes of depression. The explanations received in childhood no longer suit the teenager, it is no longer so easy to deceive him. How does the awareness of death manifest in adolescents? They can experience severe depression caused by the fear of death, so they are frantically looking for ways to live on. Trying to escape from this fear, teenagers begin to take drugs, find themselves in the clutches of sectarians. Gradually, a teenager is very far away from his parents (after all, they deceived him), or he goes headlong into computer games, since they give a feeling of complete power over death.

Middle age crisis. After going through adolescence, a person temporarily forgets about his fear, his depression also disappears for a while. The next stage of thanatophobia lies in wait for him in his prime, when he has already achieved a lot. A person thinks about what lies ahead - old age, decrepitude, and then a slow extinction, and then death. There is something to fall into depression! When a person realizes that he has no power over his death, the psychological defense mechanisms developed over the years begin to fail. Therefore, people again face the most severe manifestations of depression caused by the fear of death. If a person continues to deny his own mortality, this can cause the development of all sorts of neuroses, phobias and obsessive-compulsive disorders.

Old age. Oddly enough, the closer the approach of death becomes, the more calmly a person treats it. Old people willingly talk about this topic, many even expect it as a deliverance from suffering or illness. Psychologists say that at this age only those people who have not been able to realize themselves are afraid to die.

Causes

Thanatophobia can be caused by several main reasons.

Can you die from depression?

People who think about death are often worried about being depressed. Some people, being depressed, feel so physically and psychologically ill that they seriously think that they can die from it. Is it so? Of course, depression itself is not fatal, but there are many rather dangerous symptoms of this disease, such as apathy, decreased physical activity, insomnia, and weight loss.

All these symptoms, if not treated, significantly worsen the general well-being of a person, which, in combination with thanatophobia, can lead to very disastrous results. In especially severe cases, a person has constant obsessive thoughts about death, which are gradually modified into thoughts of auto-aggression or even suicide. In some cases, such thoughts can provoke a person to attempt a suicide.

Therefore, the answer to the question: "Is it possible to die from depression" is rather ambiguous. By itself, depression has not led a single person to death, but it can direct his thoughts in a very dangerous direction. Therefore, if a person suffers from depression, he definitely needs the qualified help of a psychotherapist in order to avoid more serious problems.

Therapy

Treatment for thanatophobia depends on the individual's personal goals. Are you trying to resolve a religious conflict or just want to attend funeral-like events without panic? The psychotherapist must first define the client's expectations, and only then begin to develop a treatment plan.

For depression caused by this fear, various types of psychotherapy, ranging from cognitive-behavioral to psychoanalytic, are helpful. Counseling with a spiritual mentor, sedatives, and other methods work well with this treatment. You can also try to fight thanatophobia yourself.

How do you deal with your fear of death as well as depression? Here are some simple tips that have helped a lot of people:

  1. Realize that everything is cyclical. Everything in the world is finite, and a person is a part of this world. Take it for granted;
  2. You will remain in memory. You will always be remembered, and the memories of you will never disappear. People live in the hearts of those they love;
  3. Talk about your fear. You need to find someone you trust and tell him about your phobia. The psychotherapist is perfect for this role;
  4. Just live. Don't waste your life worrying about death. Instead, fill your every day with events and joy;
  5. Stop worrying about it. Human life expectancy is about 75 years, and in developed countries people live even longer;
  6. Be optimistic. Optimists are less likely to get depressed. If you think negatively about your future, you will probably die sooner. Be cheerful and optimistic, and then you will live much longer;
  7. There is always hope. None of us know what happens when we die. Only one thing is known - no one has returned from there yet. Is it really that good there?
  8. Take care of the dying person. This will help you adapt to the changes that are coming, as well as overcome your depression completely. The fear of death recedes when we take care of someone;
  9. See a psychotherapist. This is the easiest and most obvious way to get rid of thanatophobia.

You can turn the fear of death to your advantage only by constantly remembering it. Take what life has to offer, do not be afraid to fulfill your wildest dreams. Remember that only those who believe that they have lived an empty life are terrified of dying, and people who are satisfied with their lives are not at all afraid of death.

Researchers ask the question: "How can the phenomenon of near-death experience be explained?" In doing so, they usually imply that any acceptable explanation must be expressed in terms of concepts - biological, neurological, psychological, with which they are already familiar. The phenomenon of near-death experience (PSP) could be explained if, for example, it was possible to show what state of the brain, what drugs or what beliefs cause it.

Those who believe that PSP cannot be explained imply that it cannot be related to any physical or psychological condition.

I want to state that this approach to explaining PSP is fundamentally wrong. As far as I know, none of those who have experienced the PSP feel the need to explain it in the simplified form that the researchers suggest. For the PSP survivor, this does not need to be explained as it is exactly what it is. It represents at least a direct experience of consciousness, or mind, or ego, or personal identity - existing independently of the physical body. And only in relation to our deeply rooted materialistic paradigm, the PSP needs proof, or rather, proof of its impossibility.

The fallacy of materialism has been empirically proven; hence what needs to be explained is the collective refusal of academia to consider facts and accept them for what they are. Today, academia is in the position of a bishop who refused to look through Galileo's telescope. Why it happens?

Before answering this question, I want to talk about the nature and power of the facts that refute materialism. In an article published in the Journal of Scientific Exploration in 1998, Emilia Williams Cook, Bruce Grayson, and Ian Stevenson described "three characteristics of PSP - heightened mental performance, the ability to see the physical body from a different position in space, and paranormal perception." They then described 14 cases that fit these principles.

Epistemologically speaking, the third criterion, paranormal perception, is the most important. The materialist can, in principle, not explain how a person receives reliable information about events while outside the body.

Consider, for example, the case where the PSP experienced person accurately captures a conversation that took place in the waiting room while his body was unconscious in the operating room. Relevant information, transmitted in the form of sound or light waves, could not leave the reception room, walk through the corridors and climb up the elevators in order to reach the organs of perception of an unconscious person. However, the person wakes up after the operation with information.

This case (there are many of them) shows quite directly that there are non-physical ways through which the mind can obtain information. Hence the conclusion that materialism is a false teaching.

Smoking gun

Perhaps one such case is the "smoking gun", which Michael Sabom described in his book "Light and Death". In this case, the patient experienced PSP when her body temperature dropped to 60 degrees F and her body was completely drained of blood.

"Her electroencephalogram was silent, there was no brain reaction, no blood flowed to the brain." In this state, the brain cannot create any experiences. However, the patient reported a deep PSP.

Those materialists who believe that consciousness is a product of the brain, or that the brain is necessary for conscious experience, cannot explain such cases using their own concepts. An impartial observer would have to conclude that not all sensations are produced by the brain and that materialism has been proven empirically false. Therefore, an explanation is required by the extreme inability of academia to consider this evidence and conclude that materialism is a false theory, and consciousness can and does exist independently of the body.

Moreover, the PSP is not the only evidence that refutes materialism; there are many of them in other areas of research. Both spiritualism, extensively studied since the time of William James, and the authentic cases of children recalling their past lives described by Stevenson are replete with facts against materialism.

The best epistemological analysis of such evidence comes from Robert Almeder. After a lengthy and detailed discussion of past life memories, he concluded that "it is rational to believe in reincarnation, given the facts." The correct conclusion, according to Almeder, should be: "It is unreasonable not to believe in reincarnation, given the facts." I agree with Almeder.

Our collective unreasonableness about the wealth of facts that refutes materialism manifests itself in two ways: (1) ignoring the facts, and (2) insisting on too strict standards of factual evidence that, if accepted, would render any empirical science impossible.

Dogma and ideology

"Hallucinations caused by taking drugs", "the last glimpse of a fading brain", "people see what they want to see" - these were the most common phrases. One conversation made me especially clear about the fundamental irrationality of pundits with regard to evidence that refutes materialism. I asked, "What about people who accurately described the details of their operation?"

"Ah," was the answer, "they may have subconsciously heard the conversation in the operating room, and their brains subconsciously translated the auditory information into visual format."

“Okay,” I replied, “what about cases where people provide reliable information about an event that happened far from their body?”

“Oh, this is just a coincidence or a lucky guess,” they reply.

Losing patience, I asked: "What is required to convince you that this is true, maybe you yourself need to go through a state of death?"

Completely calmly, without raising an eyebrow, my colleague replied: "Even if I myself experience such an experience, I will consider it a hallucination, but I will not believe that the mind can exist separately from the body." He added that dualism (a philosophical thesis that asserts that consciousness and matter are independent substances, neither of which can be reduced to another) is a false theory, and that there can be no evidence of what is false.

This was an important lesson for me, because I was in front of an educated, intelligent person who said that he would not leave materialism no matter what happened. Even his own experiences will not force him to abandon materialism. At that moment, I realized two things. First, this experience has weaned me off challenging such things with die-hard colleagues; there is no point in arguing with someone who claims that his views are already established, and he will not change them, no matter what I say.

Secondly, this experience taught me that it is important to distinguish between (a) materialism as an empirical hypothesis about the structure of the world, subject to evidence (this is a sign of a scientific hypothesis that facts are essential for its truth or falsity) and (b) materialism as an ideology, or a paradigm of how "should" be, which does not obey the facts (this is a sign of an unscientific hypothesis - evidence is not essential for its truth).

A colleague of mine did not believe in materialism as a scientific hypothesis that might turn out to be wrong, but took it for a dogma or ideology that "should" be true, despite conflicting facts. For him, materialism is a fundamental paradigm in terms of which everything else is explained, but which in itself is not subject to doubt.

I have coined the term "fundamentalist" to refer to those who believe that materialism is an immutable truth, not subject to empirical evidence. I call this fundamentalism for an unambiguous comparison with fundamentalism in religion. Fundamentalism implies the conviction of the correctness of one's beliefs.

Just as the Christian fundamentalist is convinced that the world was created in the way described in the Bible (notwithstanding the fossil remains), the fundamentalist is convinced that everything is made of matter or physical energy (notwithstanding the PSP and other evidence). In fact, and this is an important point, their respective beliefs have nothing to do with factual evidence. As my fundamentalist colleague put it, "There can be no evidence that is not true."

With regard to (a) materialism as an empirical hypothesis about the structure of the world, the evidence against is overwhelming. In relation to (b) materialism as an ideology, evidence is logically impossible. A complicating factor is that the fundamentalist believes that his belief in materialism is not ideological but empirical. That is, he mistakenly places himself in category (a), while his behavior clearly falls into category (b).

Skeptics believe that by ignoring and rejecting evidence against materialism, they are showing a "scientific" approach. But when asked what kind of empirical evidence will convince them that materialism is wrong, they, like my colleague, tend to get lost, not knowing what to say.

If they are not familiar with the data, then a criterion is put forward, which, in fact, has already been met. If you point out that there are many documented cases that satisfy the proposed criterion, they will simply make the criterion more stringent, and at some point they will cross the line between a reasonable demand for scientific evidence and an unreasonable (and unscientific) demand for logical evidence.

It can be assumed that of all scientific disciplines, it is philosophy that should be more interested than others in studies of the phenomenon of near-death experiences (PSP) and study them carefully. After all, isn't philosophy concerned with questions of higher wisdom, the meaning of life, the relationship between the body, consciousness and about God?

PSP provides data that is directly related to all of these issues. How is it possible that philosophy has managed to collectively ignore and even ridicule these studies? To those outside of academic philosophy, it may seem incredible that the vast majority of academic philosophers are atheists and materialists. By misusing science to sustain their materialism, they systematically ignore scientific evidence that refutes their worldview.

Even more surprising is that even those philosophers who are not materialists (and their number, I think, is growing) refuse to look at this data. One might suppose that Cartesian dualists or Platonists will eagerly seize on data that convincingly support their view that consciousness is superior to the physical world, but this is not so.

To my surprise, he was just as skeptical as my fundamentalist colleague. When I asked him why he was not interested, he replied that his beliefs in God, the afterlife, etc. are based on faith; if these things were proven empirically, then there would be no room for faith, which is the basis of his religious beliefs.

I realized that the PSP are between two fires, since they are not taken seriously by the two sciences, philosophy and theology, that should be interested in this phenomenon. Once theology and religion open the door to empirical data, there is a danger that these data may conflict with some aspects of faith. Indeed, it happened so.

The PSP data, for example, say that God is not vengeful, he does not punish or condemn us, and does not get angry with us for our “sins”; of course, there is condemnation, but, in this all stories about the PSP agree, this condemnation comes from the individual himself, and not from a Divine being.

It seems that all that God can give us is unconditional love. But the concept of an all-loving, non-punishing God is contrary to the teachings of many religions, so it's no surprise that religious fundamentalists don't feel comfortable.

Strange allies

Over the years, I have come to the conclusion that both atheist and believer, from fundamentalist to fundamentalist, have something in common. Indeed, from an epistemological point of view, this commonality is much more important than where their views differ. They agree on the following: beliefs related to the possible existence of a transcendental reality - God, soul, afterlife, etc. - are based on faith, not facts. If so, then there can be no factual evidence to support these beliefs.

The belief that belief in a transcendental reality cannot be empirically validated is so deeply ingrained in our culture that it is taboo. This taboo is very democratic because it allows everyone to believe what they want to believe. This allows the fundamentalist to feel comfortable, convinced that the mind is on his side, that there is no afterlife, and those who think differently have fallen victim to irrational forces, taking wishful thinking. But it also allows the fundamentalist to feel comfortable believing that God is on his side, and those who think differently have fallen victim to the forces of evil and the Devil.

Thus, while the fundamentalist and the fundamentalist take extreme opposing positions on attitudes towards the afterlife, these extreme positions unite them as “strange allies” in the struggle against the factual evidence of the afterlife that empirical research may find. The very suggestion that empirical research can support beliefs in transcendental reality contradicts this taboo and threatens many elements of our culture.

Meaning of life

The study of the PSP led to the following unequivocal conclusion: those who experienced the PSP confirm the basic values common to most world religions. They agree that the purpose of life is knowledge and love. A study of the transformative impact of PSP shows that cultural values such as wealth, status, material, etc., become much less significant, and eternal values such as love, concern for others and the divine become more important. That is, the study showed that the survivors of the PSP not only verbally proclaim the values of love and knowledge, but also try to act in accordance with these values, if not completely, then at least to a greater extent than before the PSP.

As long as religious values are presented as mere religious values, it is not difficult for mainstream culture to ignore them or mention them in passing during Sunday morning sermons. But if the same values are presented as empirically proven scientific facts, then everything will change. If belief in an afterlife is accepted not on the basis of faith or speculative theology, but as a confirmed scientific hypothesis, then our culture cannot ignore it. In fact, this will mean the end of our culture in its present form.

Consider the following scenario: further study of the PSP confirms in detail what has already been found; even more cases of confirmed valid out-of-body experiences are collected and documented; advanced medical technology makes possible even more cases like the “smoking gun” described above; The study of those who experienced PSP confirms the already noted change in their behavior associated with newly acquired (or recently strengthened) spiritual values, etc. Research has been replicated across cultures with the same results.

Finally, the weight of the evidence begins to show, and scientists are ready to announce to the world, if not as a fact, then at least as a sufficiently confirmed scientific hypothesis:

(1) There is an afterlife.

(2) Our true identity is not our body, but our mind or consciousness.

(3) Although the details of the afterlife are unknown, we are sure that everyone will face a revision of his life, during which he will experience not only every event and every emotion, but also the consequences of his behavior, positive or negative. The usual defense mechanisms by which we hide from ourselves our sometimes cruel and unmerciful attitudes towards others do not seem to work during life redefinition.

(4) The meaning of life is love and knowledge, to learn as much as possible about this world and about the transcendental world and increase our ability to feel kindness and mercy towards all living beings.

(5) Harming others, both physically and psychologically, will be a big nuisance for us, since any pain that we have caused to others will be experienced during the review as our own.

This scenario is by no means contrived. I believe there is sufficient evidence to make the above statements "likely" and "more likely than not." Further research will only increase this likelihood.

When this happens, the effect will be revolutionary. When science announces these discoveries, it will no longer be possible to do business as before. It would be interesting to speculate on what an economics would look like if it tries to fit the above five empirical hypotheses, but that is beyond the scope of this article.

The discoveries of the PSP researchers will mark the beginning of the end of a culture driven by greed and ambition, which measures success in terms of material wealth, reputation, social status, etc. Consequently, modern culture has a huge interest in discouraging PSP research by ignoring, refuting, and downplaying research findings.

I'll end the article with a little story. Charles Broad, writing in the mid-20th century, was president of the British Society for Physical Research. He was the last internationally renowned philosopher to believe there was something to it. Towards the end of his life, he was asked how he would feel if he found that he was still alive after the death of the physical body. He replied that he would rather be disappointed than surprised. He won't be surprised, as his research has led him to conclude that an afterlife is likely to exist. Why disappointed? His answer was disarmingly honest.

He said that he had lived a good life: he was financially secure and enjoyed the respect and admiration of his students and colleagues. But there is no guarantee that his status, reputation and security will be preserved in the afterlife. The rules by which success is measured in the afterlife can be very different from the rules by which success is measured in this life.

Indeed, PSP research suggests that Charles Broad's fears are well founded, that "success" by otherworldly standards is not measured in terms of publications, merit, or reputation, but by kindness and compassion for others.

What is Consciousness?
Is there life after death, and is there death after life - questions that have always worried humanity. In the 21st century, a certain shift took place in the study of this issue. It is not yet possible to say with absolute certainty that the life of the spirit does not end with the death of the body. But numerous facts accumulated by science over the years and the latest scientific developments in this area say that death is not the final station. Materials of research and experiments, which were published in scientific publications by P. Fenwick (London Institute of Psychiatry) and S. Parin (Southampton Central Clinic), prove that human consciousness does not depend on brain activity and continues to live when all processes in the brain have stopped. Brain cells, according to scientists, are no different from other cells in the body. They produce various chemicals, proteins, but they do not create any thoughts or images that we take for consciousness. The brain performs the functions of a "live TV", which simply receives waves and converts them into image and sound, from which a complete picture is formed. And if so, scientists conclude, the consciousness continues to exist after the death of the body.

At the end of the article VIDEO: One hundred percent, no death ...

  • What is Consciousness?

Simply put, turning off the TV does not mean that all TV channels disappear. If you turn off the body, the consciousness will not disappear either.

But first, you need to figure out what consciousness is.

A person spends most of his life in an unconscious state. This does not mean that he does not control his actions, cannot think logically, maintain a conversation or do other things.

No. It's just that at this time he is not aware of himself as a person. For the last two days, for example, I have been moving to another apartment. I collected things, went to the store, ordered transport.

At some point, while gluing the box with duct tape, I suddenly realized that twenty years ago it had been spinning in my head for several hours, and I was humming it to myself.

Why did she fly in the head, because I definitely did not hear her in the last hours, I spent them unconsciously, at routine work, not realizing that it was I, I was doing it.

What kind of translator put the hit of the past years into my brain? One can, of course, assume that it was generated by the brain, but then we must admit that it does stupid and unnecessary work, which consumes a lot of energy.

I don’t think evolution will not cut off this useless function. One will involuntarily agree with the hypothesis that the brain picks up signals and thoughts from the outside, and does not generate them.

But academician Andrei Dmitrievich Sakharov wrote that he cannot imagine human life and the Universe without a source of spiritual "warmth", without a meaningful beginning that lies outside matter.

Life of the soul after the death of the body

Renowned physicist and professor at the Institute of Regenerative Medicine Robert Lanza declares that death simply does not exist. Death is not the end of life, but the transition of our “I”, our Consciousness into a parallel world.

He is also sure that the world around us depends on our Consciousness and everything that we see, hear and feel does not exist without it.

An interesting idea was put forward by the American scientist anesthesiologist S. Hameroff. He believes that our soul and Consciousness have always existed in the Universe, since the Big Bang, that the soul consists of the tissue of the Universe itself, and has a different more fundamental structure than neurons.

In conclusion, let us recall the views of the academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Professor Natalya Petrovna Bekhtereva, about whom we have already written. For a long time Natalya Petrovna headed the Human Brain Institute and was convinced of the posthumous life of the soul. In addition, she herself has personally witnessed posthumous phenomena.

    Life after death. Evidence

15 proofs of life after death

    Napoleon's signature

A fact from history. After Napoleon, King Louis XVIII ascended the French throne. One night he languished awake. On the table lay the marriage contract of Marshal Marmont, which Napoleon was to sign. Suddenly Louis heard footsteps, the door opened, and Napoleon himself entered the bedroom. He put on the crown, walked over to the table and languished in his hands a feather. More Louis did not remember anything, his consciousness left him. He woke up only in the morning. The bedroom door was closed, and a contract signed by the emperor lay on the table. This document was kept in the archive for a long time, and the handwriting was recognized as real.

    Love for mother

And again about Napoleon. Apparently, his spirit could not come to terms with such a fate, so he rushed about in unknown spaces, trying to somehow reconcile, realize his bodily life and say goodbye to dear people. On May 5, 1821, when the emperor died in captivity, his ghost appeared before his mother and said: "Today, May 5, eight hundred and twenty-one." And only two months later, she found out that her son ended his earthly existence on that very day.

    Girl Maria

Unconscious, a girl named Maria left her room. She rose above the bed, saw and heard everything.

At some point, she was in the corridor, where she noticed a tennis shoe thrown by someone. When she was regained consciousness, she told the nurse on duty. She, with disbelief, but still went into the corridor, to the floor indicated by Maria. The tennis shoe was there.

    Broken cup

A similar case told by a famous professor. During the operation, his patient suffered cardiac arrest. She was dead for a while. The heart was started, the operation was successful, and the professor came to examine her in the intensive care unit. The woman had already come out of anesthesia, was conscious and told a very strange story.

    Opinion:

    S. Hameroff believes that our soul and Consciousness have existed in the Universe since the Big Bang

During cardiac arrest, the patient saw herself lying on the operating table. Almost immediately I thought that she would die without saying goodbye to her daughter and mother, after which she ended up at home. I saw my daughter, saw a neighbor who came to them and brought her daughter a dress with polka dots. They sat down to drink tea, and while drinking tea, a cup broke. The neighbor said it was for luck. The patient described her visions so confidently that the professor went to the patient's family. ... During the operation, their neighbor did come to the apartment, there was a dress with polka dots and, luckily, a broken cup. If the professor was an atheist, I don’t think he remained one after this incident.

    Mummy riddle

It is incredible, but true, sometimes after death, individual fragments of the human body remain unchanged and continue to live. In Southeast Asia, monks have been found whose bodies have been preserved in excellent condition.

In addition, their energy field even exceeds that of living people. Their hair and nails grow and, probably, something is still alive in them that cannot be measured by any modern devices.

    Return from hell

Professor Moritz Rooling, a cardiologist during his practice, has taken his patients out of the state of clinical death hundreds of times. In 1977 he gave an indirect heart massage to a young man. Consciousness returned to the guy several times, but then he lost it again. Each time, returning to reality, the patient begged Rooling to continue, not to stop, while it was clear that he was in panic.

The guy still managed to be brought back to life, and the doctor asked what scared him so much. The patient's response was unexpected. The patient stated that. Moritz began to study this issue, and it turned out that there are a lot of such cases in international practice.

    Handwriting samples

At the age of two, when the children still do not really know how to speak, the Indian boy Taranjita said that, in fact, he had a different name and lived in a different village. He could not know about the existence of this village, but he pronounced its name correctly. At the age of six, he remembered the circumstances of his death - he was hit by a motorcyclist. Taranjit was in the 9th grade at that moment and went to school. Incredibly, after verification, this story was confirmed by the leanness, and the handwriting samples of Taranjit and the deceased teenager coincided.

    Birthmarks on the body

In some Asian countries, there is a tradition to put marks on the human body after death. Relatives believe that in this way the soul of the deceased will be reborn in the same family, and marks, in the form of birthmarks, will appear on the bodies of children.

This is exactly what happened to a little boy from Myanmar. The birthmarks on his body exactly matched the marks on the body of his deceased grandfather.

    Knowledge of foreign language

A middle-aged American woman who was born and raised in the United States, under the influence of hypnosis, she suddenly spoke the purest Swedish language. When asked who she was, the woman replied that she was a Swedish peasant.

    Features of consciousness

Professor Sam Parnia, who has been studying clinical death for a long time, came to the conclusion that a person's Consciousness is preserved even after the death of the brain, when there is no electrical activity and no blood is supplied to it. Over the years, he collected a large amount of evidence about the experiences and visions of patients when their brain was not more active than a stone.

    Out of body experience

American singer Pam Reynolds was put into a state of artificial coma during brain surgery. The brain was deprived of blood supply, and the body was cooled to fifteen degrees Celsius. Special headphones were inserted into the ears, which do not let sounds through, and the eyes were covered with a mask. During the operation, according to Pam's recollections, she could observe her own body and what was happening in the operating room.

    Personality changes

Pim van Lommel, a Dutch scientist, analyzed the memories of patients who had experienced clinical death. According to his observations, many of them began to look at the future more optimistically, got rid of the fear of death, became happier, more sociable, and more positive. Almost everyone noted that it was a positive experience that made their life different.

A happy opportunity, so to speak, presented itself to a person who himself dealt with the problem of the existence of life after death. American neurosurgeon Alexander Eben spent seven days in a coma. After leaving this state, Eben, in his own words, became a different person, because in his forced dream he observed something that is difficult to even imagine.

He plunged into another, filled with light and beautiful music, although his brain was disconnected at that time, and for all medical reasons he could not observe anything like this.

    Visions of the Blind

It turns out that during clinical death the blind see their sight. These observations were described by the authors S. Cooper and K. Ring. They specifically interviewed a focus group of 31 blind people who experienced clinical death.

Without exception, everyone, even those who were blind from birth, stated that they observed visual images.

    Past life

Dr. Ian Stevenson did a tremendous job and interviewed more than three thousand children who may have remembered something from their past life. For example, a little girl from Sri Lanka clearly remembered the name of the city where she lived before, and also described in detail her home and her past family. Before, none of her current family or even those who knew this city were connected in any way. Later, 27 out of 30 of her memories were confirmed.

    Opinion:

After the death of the physical body, Consciousness remains and continues to live

  • Video: Life After Death? Yes, one hundred percent, there is no death ...

This is the fifth and final article in a series on death issues. Any living structure in the sense of energy exchange obeys the law of the pentagram: organs and systems of the human body, the construction of interactions in the family and the production team ... From experience we can say that five facets of considering any topic can create the effect of an exhaustive representation (sensation) about it.

The fear of death is that fundamental fear, to the type of which you can reduce all the variety of fears experienced by a person, up to
fear of fear (fear of being scared) and fear of life! ☺

As long as there is fear, there is no freedom, no joy, no sense, there is BLOCKING.

That is why we contrast the phenomenon of fear of death with the symbol of harmonious LIFE !!! ☺

The topic for us is far from theoretical.

Behind our shoulders and support (for research purposes) the centers of the mind of dead people (John Brinkley did the same, the same topic was considered in the film "I Remain", in which Andrei Krasko starred before his death), and the study of materials left by predecessors and very respectful use of the results of instrumental research, which Professor Korotkov carried out at the risk of his life in morgues.

He and his associates studied the energy activity of the shell of dead people up to 9 - 40 (!!!) days, and the measurement results could clearly show whether the person under study died from:

    • old age
    • accident
    • karmic withdrawal from life (in this case, there was no residual membrane activity at all)
    • negligence / ignorance (in these cases, it was simply necessary in a dangerous period from the point of view of Astrology to observe maximum accuracy and attentiveness, to use the personality's abilities to choose a conservative or evolutionary scenario for the unfolding of events in order to avoid an astrologically predictable tragic scenario! Near the bodies of these "careless deceased" In the future, the instruments recorded many attempts of the "once gaped" center of the Mind of the deceased to penetrate inside "his body" and revive it. ”It was from such" underdeveloped "," disliked "," not fulfilling the task set by the Spirit of the incarnate "experimenters had to endure a lot of problems that affect also on their health!)

In the summer of 1995, at a conference on weak and superweak interactions, held in St. Petersburg, we talked about the ways of a safe way out of these consequences of experiments with the professor. He was also provided with our experience in accompanying the departed and researching the phenomenon of exercism ...

In this article we will try to dispel the veil of obscurity and consider in detail the processes that occur with a person after death from the point of view of physics.

After all, the answer to the question of what will happen after death is key in overcoming the strongest human fear - the fear of death, as well as its derivative - the fear of life ... that is, fears that unanimously stick their subconscious sticks into the wheels of consciousness of almost any person.

But before giving a detailed answer to the question of what awaits us after death, it is necessary to understand what death is and what Man is.

Let's start, perhaps, with the definition of a Man, a Man with a capital letter.

So, in full divine completeness, Man is a triune being, consisting of:

    1. Physical bodybelonging to the material world (has a genetic history of construction) - iron
    2. Personalities - a complex of acquired psychological qualities and attitudes (ego) - software
    3. Spirit - an object of the causal plane of existence of matter (has an embodied history of construction), incarnating in a physical body during the cycles of reincarnation to gain the necessary experience - user

    Italics is a computer analogy.

Figure: 1. What will happen after death. The “Holy Trinity” is a multilevel structure of Man on various planes of the existence of matter, which includes Spirit, Personality and Physical body

It is in this set of structural units that Man is the Holy Trinity.

However, it should be borne in mind that not all representatives of homo sapiens have such a complete set.

There are also frankly spiritless people: Physical body + Personality (Ego) without the 3rd component - Spirit. These are the so-called "matrix" people, whose consciousness is governed by templates, frames, social norms, fears and selfish aspirations. The Incarnation Spirit simply cannot "reach out" to them in order to convey to the consciousness the true tasks facing this person for the current incarnation.

The diaphragm of consciousness for corrective signals "from above" is tightly closed in such a person.

A kind of horse without a rider or a car without a driver!

He runs somewhere, goes according to a program laid down by someone, but he cannot answer the question “Why is this all”! In a word, the human matrix ...

Figure: 2. "Matrix" person, led through life by ego-templates and programs

Accordingly, the answer to the question of what happens after death will be different for a spiritual person and a spiritless person.

Let's take a closer look at the physics of what will happen after death for these 2 cases!

What will happen after the death of a person. Process physics

    Definition:

Death is a change of dimension

According to medical indicators, the moment of cardiac arrest and breathing of a person is taken as the fact of physical death. From that moment on, we can assume that the person is dead, or rather, his physical body is dead. But what happens to the center of human consciousness and his field (energetic) sheath, which covers the physical body in the process of all conscious life? Do these energy-information objects have life after death?

    Figure: 3. Human energy-informational shells

Literally the following happens: at the moment of death, the center of consciousness, together with the energy shell, are separated from the deceased body (physical carrier) and form the astral essence. That is, after physical death, a Man simply passes to a more subtle plane of the existence of matter - the astral plane.

Figure: 4. Stable plans for the existence of matter.
"Bird of materialization / dematerialization" - the process of transition of information into energy (and vice versa) over time

The capacity for thinking on this plane is also preserved and the center of consciousness continues to function. For some time, phantom sensations from the body (legs, hands, fingers) may even persist ... Additional opportunities appear for movement in space at the level of mental stimuli, leading to movement in the chosen direction.

In detailing the answer to the question of what happens after death, it is worth clarifying that a deceased person, having passed into a new form of subtle-material existence - the object of the astral plane described above - can exist at this level up to 9 days after the death of the physical body.

As a rule, this object during these 9 days is not far from the place of its death or the usual territory of residence (apartment, house). That is why it is recommended to cover all mirrors in the house with a dense cloth after a person leaves life, so that the center of consciousness that has departed to the astral plane cannot see its new, not yet familiar appearance. The shape of this object (Human) of the astral plane is predominantly spherical. The object includes the center of consciousness, as a separate intelligent structure, plus the surrounding energy-shell, the so-called energy-cocoon.

If during his lifetime a person was very strongly attached to material things and his place of residence, then in order to facilitate the "retreat" of the deceased to the more subtle planes of the existence of matter, it is recommended to burn the things of the deceased: in this way, he can be helped to get rid of the densely material reality and transfer additional energy - the lifting force from the flame plasma.

What awaits us after death. Transients between 0-9 and 9-40 days

So, we found out what will happen after the death of a person at the initial stage. What's next?

As mentioned earlier, during the first 9 days after death, the deceased is in the so-called layer of the lower astral, where energy interactions still prevail over informational ones. This period is given to the deceased so that he can correctly complete and energetically “release” all the connections that hold him on the earth's surface.

Figure: 5. Breaking and releasing energy ties in the period from 0-9 days after death

On the 9th day, as a rule, there is a transition of the center of consciousness and the energy-cocoon to the higher layers of the astral plane, where the energy connection with the material world is no longer so dense. Here, the information processes of this level are already beginning to exert greater influence, and their resonance with programs and beliefs formed in the current incarnation and stored in the center of human consciousness.

The process of compaction and sorting of information and experience accumulated in the center of consciousness, obtained in the current incarnation, begins, that is, the so-called process of disk defragmentation (in terms of computer systems).

Figure: 6. What happens after death. Defragmentation (ordering) of information and accumulated experience in the center of human consciousness

Until the 40th day (after the death of the physical body), the deceased still has the opportunity to return to those places where he still retains some kind of connections at the energetic or informational level.

Therefore, during this period of time, close relatives can still feel the presence of the deceased person "somewhere nearby", sometimes even see his "blurred" appearance. But such a tight connection is more characteristic of the first 9 days, then it weakens.

What will happen after the death of a person in the period after 40 days

After the 40th day, the main (most important) transition occurs!

The center of consciousness with already relatively defragmented (compacted and sorted) information begins to "suck" into the so-called mental tunnel. Walking through this tunnel resembles a quick view of a movie about a lived life with scrolling of events in the opposite direction.

Figure: 7. Light at the end of the mental tunnel. Reverse scrolling of life events

If a person has had a lot of stresses and unresolved conflicts during his life, then in order to repay them during the return passage through the tunnel, they will require the expenditure of energy, which can be taken from the energy cocoon (the former energy shell of a person) that envelops the outgoing center of consciousness.

This energy cocoon performs a function similar to that of the fuel on a launch vehicle that propels a rocket into outer space!

Figure: 8. Transfer of the center of consciousness to the more subtle planes of the existence of matter, as a launch of a rocket into outer space. Fuel is spent to overcome the forces of gravity

A church prayer (funeral service for the deceased) or candles lit for the repose of a departed person on the 40th day also helps in passing this tunnel. The plasma of the candle flame releases very large volumes of free energy, which the outgoing center of consciousness can use when passing through the mental tunnel to “pay” for karmic debts and unresolved problems of the energy-information level accumulated during the current incarnation.

At the moment of passing through the tunnel, all unnecessary information, not complete in full-fledged programs and not corresponding to the laws of subtle planes, is also cleared from the database of the center of consciousness.

From the point of view of physical processes, the center of consciousness passes through the memory body of the 4th dimension (Soul) in the opposite direction until the moment of conception (points of the Genome) and then moves inside the Spirit (Causal body)!

Figure: 9. What will happen after death. Reverse passage of the center of consciousness through the body of memory (Soul) to the point of the Genome with the subsequent transition to the Causal body

The light at the end of the tunnel just accompanies the process of this transition from the point of conception into the structure of the Individual Spirit!

Further processes taking place at this level, as well as the processes of reincarnation (new incarnation), will be left outside the scope of this article for now ...

What will happen after the death of a person. Possible deviations from the described harmonious scenario

So, understanding the question of what awaits us after death and what will happen to us, we have described here a harmonious scenario of departure to another world.

But there are also deviations from this scenario. Basically, they relate to people who have “sinned” in their current incarnation, as well as those who do not want to “let go” into another world by numerous grieving relatives.

Let's talk about these 2 scenarios in more detail:

    1. If a person in the current incarnation has gained a lot of negative experience, problems, stresses, energy debts while interacting with other people, then his transition to another world after death can be very difficult. Such a center of consciousness with an energy cocoon that departed after physical death looks like a balloon with a huge amount of ballast pulling it down, back to the earth's surface.

Figure: 10. Ballast at the balloon. "Karmically burdened" person

Such deceased, even on the 40th day, can still be in the lower layers of the astral plane, trying to somehow free themselves from the pulling down bindings. Their relatives can also very clearly feel their close presence, as well as a very strong outflow of energy, which affects the health of their living relatives. This is the so-called form of post-mortal vampirism.

In this case, it is worth ordering a funeral service for the deceased in the church. It can help such a "heavy" soul of a deceased person to get rid of earthly reality.

If a deceased person managed to “sin” very seriously in the current incarnation, he may not go through the reincarnation filter at all, remaining in the lower and middle layers of the astral plane. In this case, such a Soul becomes the so-called astral Publican.

This is how ghosts and ghosts are formed - these are just such entities from the lower layers of the astral world that have not passed reincarnation filters due to karmic burden.

Figure: 11. Physics of formation of ghosts and ghosts. A fragment from the cartoon "The Canterville Ghost"

    2. The soul of a deceased person can also linger for a long time in the lower layers of the astral world, if it is not released for a long time by grieving relatives who do not understand the physics and nature of death processes.

In this case, it resembles a large, beautiful flying balloon that has been hooked with ropes pulling it back to the ground. And here the whole question is whether the ball will have enough lift to overcome this resistance.

Figure: 12. Reverse attraction of the soul of a deceased person to earthly reality. The importance of the ability to "let go" of the departing Soul

What are the consequences of this often? In the event that a child is conceived in a given family, which has not let go of a deceased relative in its thoughts, then we can say with almost 99% probability that this child will be an open reincarnation of a recently departed relative. Why open? Because the previous incarnation in this case closes incorrectly (without passing through the mental tunnel to the center of the Spirit) and the recently departed Soul from the astral world (since it did not have time to go higher) is “dragged” back into a new physical body.

Such is the physics of giving birth to a large number of Indigo children! A deeper study reveals that only 10% of them can be attributed to real Indigos, and the remaining 90% are, as a rule, "reincarnations" pulled back into this world according to the scenario described above (although it happens that "Heavy" object from scenario # 1). They are so developed very often only because their experience of the previous incarnation was not correctly erased, and also the past incarnation itself was not harmoniously closed. In this case, the answer to the question "who was I in a past life" for such children is very obvious. True, this can also affect the state of health of such children with open reincarnation.

Figure: 13. The nature of the Indigo children.
Indigo or open reincarnation of one of the relatives?

Thus, the child's consciousness gains open access to all the experience and knowledge of the past life. And who was there - a mathematician, scientist, musician or car mechanic - just determines his pseudo-genius and premature giftedness!

Correct care and change of dimension

In the case when the center of Consciousness after death successfully “leaves” in the subtle planes of the existence of matter, passing into the structure of the Individual Spirit, then depending on the experience accumulated by the Spirit for the current and all previous incarnations, as well as depending on the completeness and completeness / inferiority of information programs in the structure of Spirit, 2 scenarios are possible:

    1. The next incarnation into the physical body (as a rule, this changes the gender of the biological carrier)
    2. The exit of their circle of physical incarnations (Samsara) and the transition to a new subtle-material level - Teachers (Curators).

These are the pies, as they say! :-))

So, before leaving for another world ... it's worth even here at least a little to study physics!

As well as basic instructions and rules before taking off into Space!

    May come in handy!

If you want to understand in as much detail as possible all issues related to death, reincarnation, previous incarnations, the meaning of life, we recommend that you pay attention to the following video seminars.

Hello. With you Oksana Manoilo and we will discuss the questions: How not to be afraid of death. What is death and is it worth fearing? This is not the first time we return to the topic, because many are worried about it.

How not to be afraid of death? Death has always been a source of fear for living beings, including humans. She does not separate them according to their deeds. She doesn't care who they were and what they did, how gifted or famous they are. She's just doing her job.

    What is death really?

It can be interpreted from a great variety of points of view known in our time. However, is death really what we imagine? Is this the end of everything and then only emptiness? Or maybe we are waiting for heavenly tabernacles, or the depths of the underworld, depending on our deeds? In this article I will try to tell you what death is from the point of view of esotericism and how not to be afraid of death.

If we discard all prejudices and conjectures, then all that remains is the cessation of the functioning of the physical body. What happens to consciousness at this moment is no longer known for certain, but many believe that since consciousness is a consequence of the work of the brain, it also disappears.

However, is consciousness really just an effect and not a cause? The human body is, in fact, just his vehicle for the soul in this world. is immortal, and after the death of the body, she leaves it, having received a certain experience from life.

Where will the soul be after death?

Nobody knows where the soul is during the intermediate phase. It can be a completely different dimension, where reality is not three-dimensional and perception is not limited only by our current knowledge.

After spending some time, if of course it exists there, in the subtle world, the soul, proceeding from the experience gained from past lives, karmic debts (about them below), as well as the experience that it still wants to receive, sets the configuration of a new life, choosing the time and place of birth, as well as further destiny. Then she begins her new life, having previously blocked all the memory of past lives and unlimited knowledge, so that they do not interfere with the acquisition of new experience.

Can you remember a past life?

Of course, there are techniques with which you can remember your previous incarnations, but although this gives certain advantages, it also has certain disadvantages. There were times when, remembering his past life, a person could no longer calmly live the present one, constantly tormented by the ghosts of the past, which no longer exists. Therefore, you can engage in such practices only at your own peril and risk.

Does the soul suffer, being in, depending on its actions during life? Most likely no.

The soul in the subtle world feels the endless streams of cosmic energies, travels through time and space, and has many more possibilities that we cannot understand and comprehend in view of the limitations of our consciousness.

This can hardly be called suffering.

    The laws of the universe

However, this does not mean that you can create absolutely any lewdness, and this will not backfire on you. Two laws of the universe are still very effective and invariably punishing people for crimes: the law of the boomerang and the law of karmic debt.

About boomerang, I suppose everything is already known. Whatever you do, everything will come back to you. This is not just a warning that parents use to scare children, but the current law of the universe. For the negativity that you inflict on other people, it will return to you with a torus, maybe not immediately and not in the form in which it was sent, and maybe it does not seem to have anything to do with it, but it will certainly return. Fortunately, the boomerang law works not only for bad actions, but also for good ones. Kindness, love, tenderness and also return. And how. Remember this.

    What is Karma?

As for karma, many already know about this. Almost all our actions affect karma, and possibly even thoughts, if they are aimed at the detriment of other people. Accumulating sins during one of its incarnations, the soul will be forced to atone for them in the next, if it does not have time in the present, and maybe in the next, if the sins were enough for ten lifetimes ahead.

Moreover, exactly the way you sinned in relation to another person, they will treat you. There are quite a few examples: you steal - you lose your property, you kill - you will pay with your life, you have a beautiful appearance and play with people's feelings - expect problems with them in your next life, you constantly drink or use drugs - say goodbye to health and say hello to chronic diseases and not only in this life. You should not accumulate karmic debts. Getting rid of them is hard, long and unpleasant.

    Why you shouldn't rush death

Some might think that since after death the soul simply begins a new life, then maybe suicide is really a way out of a difficult life situation? Like, I'll just go to the next round, I'll be more lucky.

I hasten to assure you that this is not the case. Suicide is one of the worst crimes leading to a huge karmic debt. During rebirth, a mission is entrusted to you - yours, and your unauthorized departure from life is a direct refusal to fulfill it. You still owe the Universe and your own soul, and this will not go away for you, be sure.

    Suicide

After committing suicide, your soul does not get the experience it was going to get. And so your life will repeat itself again with small changes. And not the fact that for the better. Usually, in such situations, gender and sexual orientation change, or vice versa.

Plus the circumstances that forced you to commit suicide. Sometimes it only gets worse so that you can learn to overcome them. Therefore, we do not advise you to leave life in a hurry. After all, this will not make anyone better, and especially you.

If you have a difficult situation, do not rush to take your own life. And remember - there are no unsolvable problems. Email me and go through. I will help you look at the problem from a different angle and find a solution.

So, is it worth fearing death? Of course no. The fear of death is somewhat similar to the fear of the dark. When we are afraid of darkness, we are not afraid of the darkness itself, but of what may be hiding in it. Man tends to be afraid of the unknown. But now you know everything, don't you?

Of course, there is also an instinct for self-preservation, which independently causes in life-threatening situations, but it is not worth fighting with it, because it rather helps than hinders.

Knowledge is a great privilege and it is in your power to get it. You can learn more about the soul and its blocked capabilities from or other articles on our website.

How can you not be afraid of death?

Death is an integral part of life, and without it the existence of the world is impossible. There is no point in being afraid of her, because she is inevitable and there is no suffering after her. Just bathing in the energies of the universe. And the awareness of all their past incarnations for some time. And then a new life. Do not be afraid of her, but do not rush to meet her. Everything has its time. And when she comes, meet her with no regrets or fear in your heart, and with a smile on your face.
