Problems with Caucasians in the army. Caucasians in the army and the idealist akop

Many soldiers and officers testify that it is very difficult to serve together with Caucasians. Highlanders, as a rule, disobey orders and mock anyone who cannot stand up for themselves. The military department prefers to keep silent about the "Caucasian yoke" in the Russian Armed Forces until the next emergency.

The Chelyabinsk court recently passed a sentence to Private Zainalabid Gimbatov, a serviceman of military unit 69806 (Ural Military District). The private is accused of hazing with colleagues. In addition, the native of the Caucasus was charged with Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, part 2, point "a" ("Incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity, committed with the use of violence").

The military investigation department for the Chelyabinsk garrison established the following. In February 2011, Gimbatov arrived at the medical isolation ward of his unit. At the checkpoint, Gimbatov said that he was going to visit his colleagues. Several soldiers from his company were indeed being treated at the medical battalion. The serviceman gave their names and ranks and was admitted to the isolation ward.

Gimbatov went into the isolation ward where the sick soldiers were lying. The private immediately felt his superiority in front of them. Firstly, because he was absolutely healthy, and secondly, because he was a Dagestani. Gimbatov guessed that the "Dag" in his unit secretly disliked, and decided to get even for it. Gimbatov's gaze went over the beds and rested on three soldiers of Slavic appearance.

The private ordered the sick soldiers to get up. They initially refused, but the Dagestani used force. The soldiers obeyed reluctantly. Then Gimbatov took out his mobile phone and turned on one of the melodies, a combat lezginka. On the recording, the melody of the Caucasian dance alternated with machine gun shots, howling of wolves and the roar of cannon fire. Perhaps an ardent Caucasian, listening to her, felt pride, but a Russian person would not listen to that. Moreover, the recording began with the words: "In the name of Allah! Dedicated to the warriors of jihad in the Caucasus."

Gimbatov ordered the sick soldiers to dance. The soldiers refused. Then the Dagestani began to beat them. The sick servicemen obeyed and began to clumsily imitate the Caucasian dance. Gimbatov, sitting on a stool, watched the soldiers. He insulted them in every possible way, and if the soldiers got out of rhythm or moved in the wrong way, he beat them up.

The bullying of colleagues was silently watched by the rest of the soldiers who were being treated in the medical battalion. It seemed that the actions of the insolent Caucasian and the suffering of their comrades did not concern them.

For bullying sick soldiers, Gimbatov received a year in a disciplinary battalion. Disbat in the army is a cruel thing, but it is not known whether it will "cure" Gimbatov. Such measures certainly cannot correct the situation as a whole. Because there are hundreds, if not thousands, of such unpunished gimbatovs in the Russian armed forces. Against the background of insolent Caucasians, hazing, abused by all, seems an innocent prank.

The author of one of the online books, who served as an "urgent" in the mid-90s, wrote about the military from the Caucasus as "a problem for the army." According to the author, Caucasians, in particular natives of Dagestan, join the army in order to integrate in any way into the army hierarchy and establish their own order in military units:

"It all starts with" heating up "the" grandfathers ": vodka, a guitar, a promise to identify informers, to keep order. In a similar way, they roll up to the officers. take on the role of commanders for cleaning the barracks so as not to wash themselves.Also, they argue that they refuse to wash the floors in the army by the fact that their faith does not allow it, they must perform namaz (prayer) five times a day, this can only be done with clean hands, never noticed that they prayed in the army.

If the officers and regulations interfere with the Dagestanis, they try to get into the part where the officers' power is not very strong. And here they immediately take everything into their own hands. Dagestanis often try to become sergeants, to take control of such vital objects in the army as the storehouse and the canteen. They usually manage to establish their own order in military units where there is no clear authority of the officers. "

According to the author, a bandit chaos begins here. When the unit commander had a summer vacation, the military from the Caucasus felt that they were the only power. Some of the "dags" were discharged, having agreed in advance with the medical unit, the other simply went into indefinite "AWOL". Those who stayed immediately got used to the situation and realized that anarchy was in their hands: "Some were destroyed and plundered, there was no bath for three weeks, unauthorized absence was the norm. (...) to work in dachas, to steal. The officers beat a part of the command, also recklessly using soldiers for construction work. "

When the ill-fated unit 52386 was finally disbanded, many soldiers were transferred to military unit 41692. This unit was already "half under the control of the Dagestanis." Despite the fact that the mountaineers were at most 15 people. The Dagestanis managed to "build" a unit due to the weakness of the officers' power: "The Dagestanis imposed a tribute on everyone they could: for example, for every four people, ten dollars a day. Whether they steal at the facilities, or go shoot money, that's their business. The command failed to take any measures against them. It should be noted that this type of extortion was used by everyone, only the Dagestanis knew how to do it in a more organized manner. "

Where the entire personnel was manned by Caucasians, the officers also began to suffer: "Starley Budko said that when he served in a military unit, the entire personnel of which consisted of Dagestanis, the first thing he saw in the morning, opening the door from the office, Is a mop flying at him. "

It was in the 1990s. And this is what is happening in our time.

Not so long ago, the Chelyabinsk military commissar (when he was him) Nikolai Zakharov announced that there would no longer be a conscription of Caucasians in his garrison. The military commissar said that this was not his personal decision, but an order of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces concerning all military districts of the country. Colonel Zakharov then said that the Defense Ministry is concerned about the dominance of national gangs that terrorize military units. Therefore, in the spring of 2011, all the natives of the Caucasus and the Transcaucasian republics will not go to the Russian army. In the Central Military District of the RF Ministry of Defense, Chelyabinsk journalists received the following comment: “There are no verbal orders from the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces about whether or not to summon a certain contingent of persons. Probably, the military commissar at a meeting in Moscow misunderstood something. he will have an appropriate conversation. " Subsequently, Colonel Zakharov was relieved of his post as military commissar. And in the media there was news that was exactly the opposite of the words of the Chelyabinsk colonel. According to a number of media outlets, the Russian military department decided to dramatically increase the conscription of Dagestanis into the army. The media believed that this decision was caused by a shortage of conscripts from other regions and the Ministry of Defense decided to plug the gap in the last mass recruitment into the army with the Dagestanis.

Pravda.Ru has repeatedly written about how the natives of the Caucasus behave in military units. Let us recall only the most notorious incidents that have happened in recent years.

At the Baltic Fleet, Dagestani conscripts mocked their colleagues in every possible way. According to the materials of the case, in August 2009 sailors Vitaly Shah, Hajibakhmud Kurbanov, Arag Eminov, Sirazhutdin Cheriev, Naib Taygibov, Islam Khamurzov, Jamal Temirbulatov beat about 15 colleagues, and then forced them to lie on the ground so that the word KAVKAZ came out of their bodies. ... Prior to this crime, the "grandfathers" repeatedly robbed and beat conscripts.

16/12/2010

I happened to serve for 2 years side by side with the guys from sunny Dagestan. This is the most multinational state in the world - there are Avars, Lezgins, Laks, Tabasarans, Nogais, Dargins, Kumyks, Rutuls, Aguls, Tsakhurs and others ... and they are all Dagestanis.

E there is a legend, which my Dagestani army friend Ibragim told me, that God walked around the world with a bag and distributed languages \u200b\u200bto the peoples. In the region of Dagestan, the Lord dozed off and the sack overturned, from which more tongues woke up on a small territory than necessary.

I served in the Skovorodinsky border detachment. Even then I was perplexed - why are Caucasians sent to serve us? Do they have problems with the place of service there? So, then, we were told by the training courses, who were not fired upon, that when the call of the Dagestanis came, their group of 15-20 people would "hold" the entire training center. We then boasted, they say, but this cannot be ... You know, it happened. They always stayed together and were ready to help each other, regardless of whether their compatriot was right or not.

But the Russian guys could not boast of the same solidarity. True, we had the head of the training frontier post, Captain Akhromeev, who was in hot spots. And the sergeants did not fail. In general, in order to repulse the Dagestanis who could open the doors of the units with their feet, we had a new command order: "Dagi!" When we heard, it didn't depend on whatever part of the location we were in - everyone ran to the bedside table, grabbed the Dagestani by the arms and legs and threw him out the door. We quietly discouraged uninvited Caucasian guests from coming to us. But that was just a tutorial.

In the garrison, other orders reigned, or rather Dagestanis reigned there. There were 4-5 of them in each unit, but this was enough to keep the entire unit under control. When I moved to the garrison, I still found demobels, who, according to rumors, “nursed" not only the detachment, but also Skovorodino, near which the unit was located. As soon as night fell, they changed into tracksuits and engaged in racketeering. Therefore, when they were demobilized, both the civilian security forces and the leadership of the detachment breathed a sigh of relief.

Yes, what can I say, when the Dagestanis are together, a penchant for crime immediately manifests itself. No, I'm not talking about everyone - there were guys among them who were above all this, but this is rather an exception from the category. And I had to face this, as they say, on my own skin. This happened after I was transferred from the commandant company to the sapper company. In the first I still had Amur friends, in the new unit there was no one and a bunch of Dagestanis. They tried to grab the very first salary that we received in the office of the company commander. All those who left the office with money were invited to the toilet room to "talk" by representatives of Dagestan. For myself, I decided to hold on to the last. There were threats and "pressure on a sore callus", but I left the toilet with my money in my fist ... went out into the street - lit a cigarette in frustration. I understood perfectly well that I needed to serve with them for another 1, 5 years ... My heavy thoughts were interrupted by some soldier, who shouted out: go rather there our Amur men butted for you ... It turns out that someone reported to our commandant's office the company that they tried to "press" me. When I began to climb to the 5th floor of the engineer-sapper company, I saw my commandant comrades ... Fighting did not happen then - alas, I did not fulfill the role of a leader assigned to me, who would shout: "Beat, dagov!" But after this story they began to respect me.

During the years of service, I saw what Dagestnians are cruel and merciless ... I will not paint terrible pictures here, and so the atmosphere is electrified by the events in Moscow. I want to say that among the Dagestanis I was able to find a real friend ... Unfortunately, later, under the pressure of his brothers, he suddenly stopped communicating with me. But what he told me was enough to understand something about this people.

From the stories of Ibrahim I understood why the sons of the mountains dislike us:

1. Disunity a la my hut on the edge, lack of mutual assistance among Russians;
2. Cowardice, lack of courage;
3. We throw bread on the ground;
4. Abortions of our women and, in general, not the desire to have many children;
5. The availability of our women;
6. Drunkenness of men until the loss of pulse;
7. And much more ...

It is clear that it is possible from the point of view of the Russians to make an equally large list of Caucasians. But the point is different - we need to do something ourselves, too, to be respected. To shape public opinion - require the government to stimulate national projects and other things. But the most important thing is to be respected - we need to start respecting ourselves ... And this will not work without God's help. It turns out that the only available national idea is a spiritual uplift through Orthodoxy. It is through the faith of our ancestors that we can be united, courageous in Christ, respect someone else's work, continue our race in many descendants, be chaste and know when to drink. Dostoevsky said to the point that a Russian peasant without God is rubbish. Maybe that's enough rubbish?

It seems that he named banal things, but we have a program for action ... At least on the bus, when someone offends someone - after all, we can intercede, and not hide our face out the window? And then again, we will not go further than kitchen patriotism ... And you shouldn't go to extremes either ... I'm talking about those innocent guys who were kicked to recoup ... It's a real problem when we empathize with violence .. After all, according to the word of St. Basil the Great, who looks at evil without disgust, he will soon look at it with pleasure. What are we after this Christians ?

The almost total sanding of the Russians, which began after Stalin's death in 1953 and accelerated sharply after Khrushchev's "exposure of the personality cult" in 1956, led to their demoralization and depassionalization and ultimately culminated in the self-betraying Russian Catastrophe of 1991. All these processes took place before my eyes, I was especially impressed by the mass mating of Russian girls with dark-skinned southerners at the World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow in 1957, and as a reaction to the spreading epidemic of self-seeking should be considered my text "Charter of Temper" (1965), from for whom they began to consider me a "fascist" and expelled from the ranks of the CPSU and from politics. And I just see farther than others, and sound the alarm. At one time, the ancient Jews, led by Moses from the Egyptian captivity, also after the departure of their harsh Leader, indulged in the selfish temptation of the Golden Calf of consumerism and would also have perished, like the Russians today, if Moses had not returned and had not perpetrated the Great Purge in the Jewish camp and returned would the people on the true path of God's election (Exodus 32). It is bitter to admit, but rare present-day Russian youths are able to stand up for themselves. On the other hand, the Caucasians and partly the Mongols (Kalmyks, Buryats) have retained a readiness for self-sacrifice, without which, in general, the people are not viable, and cannot but dominate over the sanded and therefore scattered Russian soldiers in the Russian army. Therefore, many Caucasian youths perceive the draft as a gift - they go to the army with the confidence that they will not be lost, but will experience the joys of domination (not to mention good contentment and extortion-tributes from Russian colleagues). It is not officers and priests who will save the Russian youth from the pitiful fate of today, but only (as has always been and everywhere in history) a few close-knit organizers of the "long will" aimed at restoring order in the country and at global expansion (analogue of "New Moses"). - Original taken from pohabij_oplueff into the army - for a bribe

Bribes in military registration and enlistment offices are commonplace. But there is a nuance: if all over Russia families of conscripts collect money for an offering to the military commissar in order to "grease" a child from military service, then in the Caucasus - the opposite. Relatives take the bribe to the military registration and enlistment office to send the conscript to the troops. And those do not take to serve! This is not the first year. No, at home, in the Caucasus, some of the young people still do their military service. And they stay for extra urgent - remember, during the Five-Day War with Georgia, there were such battalions "East" and "West"? Worthy soldiers served in them. But the Caucasians are not invited to serve in the units stationed throughout Russia. Why? We read the news: Recruits from the regions of the North Caucasus will not be drafted into the Russian army in 2012 due to the fight against hazing and community, a senior representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense told reporters on Monday (from here). Yes, I served in the army in the late eighties, and I can confirm that several Chechens or Dagestanis in the unit are headache officers and physical pain - from regular beatings - of a significant part of the soldiers. "Compatriots" behave more often loosely than loyal. If a mountaineer respects his officer, there will be order. But if not, they can break him so that the stars fly out of the shoulder straps. I know what I'm talking about, I've seen this more than once in a construction battalion near Moscow. It is very difficult to serve with Chechens and Dagestanis. But even those Caucasians who are not accepted into the army to repay their debt to the Motherland - they our... Citizens of Russia. And the defense of the Fatherland is not a citizen's privilege. This is his sacred duty. In fact, there are a lot of options. If you want to be guaranteed to avoid hazing - you can create special units of highlanders with highlander officers at the head - and send them even to Siberia, even to Far East... The guys will go, they won't refuse. You can ... yes, you can think of a lot more using Russian historical experience. But the Ministry of Defense either cannot do it, or do not want it. They say that the recruitment of recruits from the Caucasus will resume next year. Something like that has been said for years. They promise. But they will not resume. At the same time forgetting that the habit of paying military duty to their Motherland - Russia among the mountain peoples can atrophy as unnecessary. I don't want to croak about the possible consequences of such atrophy ...

In chapter

Against the background of more frequent incidents with a pronounced ethnic connotation throughout the country in early July, a statement was made by the military commissariat of the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous region the growth of Wahhabi sentiments among conscripts from the North Caucasus. Recognizing that there are numerous problems with conscripts from the region, the military reported that the troops received tacit instructions to limit conscription from some national republics. “Our Versia” understood how acute the national issue was in the army.

One of the few decisions for which the army is grateful to the previous Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov is the refusal of conscripts from the North Caucasus. The military department is trying to avoid commenting on the fact of the ban on their service, since the Constitution does not allow the constitution to officially terminate the draft in any subject of the Federation. However, the de facto conscription campaign in the Caucasus is somewhat recent years only imitated: the registration of conscripts in the military registration and enlistment offices is conducted, commissions operate, but only a few manage to get into the troops. So, in the fall of last year, for example, only 179 people were drafted from the most populous southern republic - Dagestan.

Highlanders openly refused to obey officers

Meanwhile, in recent years, the problem with the shortage of conscripts has sharply worsened. Today, even in permanent readiness units, the shortage of soldiers is up to one third. The new leadership of the Ministry of Defense is frantically looking for ways to rectify the situation. One of the options is the resumption of mass conscription from the republics of the North Caucasus. A huge recruiting resource is really concentrated there. Until 2010, 15-20 thousand people from Dagestan alone were drafted into the army annually. However, the need for the presence of these conscripts in the troops was then strongly doubted. Such a strong concentration of Caucasians in the troops led to an incredible aggravation of the crime situation, the army was agitated by a number of incidents of bullying. The highlanders openly refused to obey the officers and actually kept entire garrisons at bay.

As the expert of the Association of Military Political Scientists Alexander Perendzhiev told Nasha Versiya, it is fundamentally wrong to restrict the right to serve in the army of Caucasians, especially in a situation when there is a huge shortage of draft resources in the country, and even women and foreigners want to be involved in the service. According to the expert, it is unacceptable to create a precedent when they do not call on ethnic grounds.

Apparently, the new Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu partly agrees with this. At the end of last year, the leadership of Dagestan reported: it was possible to agree with the Ministry of Defense that the number of conscripts from the republic would be dramatically increased. According to some reports, it was planned to call up about 5 thousand people this spring. The trend towards an increase in the number of Dagestani conscripts in Russian army really visible, but on a much smaller scale. This year, the republic received an order for 800 people.

In other North Caucasian republics, the situation is even worse: about 400 people are being drafted from Ingushetia, and the last large-scale draft in Chechnya was carried out more than 20 years ago. Most likely, the military has not yet fully decided on this issue. For comparison: the number of conscripts from neighboring Russian regions is an order of magnitude higher - from Krasnodar Territory this year more than 5 thousand people are preparing to be sent to the army, from Stavropol - more than 2 thousand.

Dzhigits rush to the troops

It should be noted that the leadership of the Caucasian republics cares about the opportunity to serve for their conscripts, however, not only and not so much out of patriotic motives. For example, after the actual termination of conscription in the republic, Dagestani youth began to have problems with employment in strong structure (where almost every young horseman strives to get to) and where they do not take without military experience.

On this topic

As a result, today there is a unique desire of young people from the Caucasus to get into the army. For the last several years, there has been a tendency when a bribe of 20-150 thousand rubles is given in Dagestan for conscription. Some conscripts move to other regions and register there so that they can be called up at the place of their new registration.

To break through the additional quota for conscripts, local military commissioners promise that they will send only the best to the army, most of whom will be with higher education, and also intend to introduce a guarantee system into the work of military commissions, under which the leaders of the diasporas will be personally responsible for each soldier.

Meanwhile, the leadership of the North Caucasian republics self-critically admits that their youth are not suitable for military service: a large part of hot Caucasian guys are poorly controlled. Moreover, the situation is aggravated by modern realities in society: if earlier the young generation in the family was taught by the elders that in the army it was necessary to obey the commanders without question, now the main accents in the instructions are the need to first of all observe religious canons.

One cannot argue with the facts - there are far from isolated cases of open disobedience to orders of commanders, opposition of national customs to military regulations. True Muslims refuse to participate in chores, dumping hard work on their colleagues. Sometimes it comes to the point of absurdity: Caucasians refuse to shave their beards, undergo examination in a neuropsychiatric clinic and examination by a surgeon. All these whims lead to the undermining of discipline, to exacerbate contradictions and become the cause of conflicts. In addition to this, some show a craving for the dangerous ideas of radical Islamism (Wahhabism).

What affects the hot heads of southerners?

As the commander of one of the military units of the Southern Military District told Nasha Versiya, commanders of all levels prefer not to take natives of the North Caucasus into their units and, under any pretext, try to get rid of their presence in the units. The officer notes that today, when the conscription term has been reduced to a year, the commanders literally do not have time to deal with the worldview of each soldier.

I must say that in Soviet army the situation with the Caucasians was not entirely cloudless. The main way of fighting the community was the even distribution of the highlanders in all parts of the large army, their "critical concentration" was not allowed. But the main instrument of influence on the hot southern heads were public associations, for example the Komsomol, and strict control over the mood among the military.

Unfortunately, the optimal levers of ideological and propaganda work in Russian Armed Forces still not invented. The situation became even more complicated with the collapse of the institution of political workers and was aggravated by the abolition of the guardhouse.

POINT OF VIEW

Alexander Perendzhiev, expert of the Association of Military Political Scientists:

- The emerging critical situation with the representatives of the Caucasus shows the weakness of the military command and control system, especially its educational component. In fact, there are no mechanisms in the Armed Forces that can affect this category of servicemen. It is a shame to admit it, but today the state ideology, the system of military-patriotic education cannot oppose the very ideas of Wahhabism, which are actively spreading among Muslim youth. There is a feeling that the army is giving in to this problem, and not trying to solve it. Perhaps the leadership of the Ministry of Defense does not even know how to do this. I myself commanded a construction company, in which 60 people from the North Caucasus served. Of course, it was difficult to manage such personnel, but it was possible. In my opinion, the conscripts from these republics have not changed, they have not become either better or worse, but the methods of working with them have been forgotten. For example, earlier Muslims were called up mainly to construction or railway units, where they served without weapons. Officers were purposefully trained to work with problematic ethnic minorities. And today, to work with Caucasians, it is also necessary to select the most trained, strong-willed, knowledgeable national characteristics and the best trained officers and sergeants. At the same time, it will not hurt to closely interact with Muslim religious organizations - for example, earlier contact was established with the Council of Muftis of Russia.
