Exam literature. Russian language, compulsory exam

The unified state examination in literature is one of the most difficult. According to statistics, no more than 5% of students choose it. The thing is that the assignments are designed with the expectation of the program of specialized humanitarian classes and schools. Earlier, before the introduction of the Unified State Exam, the examination in the form of an essay was compulsory and 2 grades were put on it at once - in literature and the Russian language. Now passing the unified state examination in literature is a rather difficult task for a graduate of an ordinary school, since the questions cover the topics studied in profile classes, and the very structure of the ticket changes every year.

Most teachers agree that for a successful passing the exam for literature in the 2017-2018 academic year, it is not enough just to read all the works from the list of the school curriculum and be able to correctly express your thoughts. Needed professional training, taking into account the specifics of the current KIMs.

In this article we will tell you:

Having successfully passed the unified state exam in the Russian language, mathematics, basic or profile level (depending on the requirements of the university) and literature, the graduate can choose different directions for himself.

In 2018, such a set of subjects will provide an opportunity for admission to the vast majority of creative directions:

  • faculty of Journalism or Military Journalism. Journalism is the most popular humanitarian field with great job prospects. Most universities have a huge competition for this specialty. In addition to literature, in most cases, a certificate in a foreign language will be required;
  • consistently high competition for a place and in universities that produce translators (accordingly, it is necessary to pass the exam in a foreign language);
  • linguistic and philological faculties;
  • to universities that produce translators (accordingly, the USE in a foreign language is required);
  • faculty of journalism or military journalism (some universities also required a certificate in a foreign language);
  • faculties teaching creative specialties: graphics, painting, sculpture, restoration, design, vocals, choreography, theatrical art, etc. (in many universities, an additional creative competition is mandatory);
  • faculties that educate a producer, sound engineer, cameraman (a certificate in mathematics of a profile level is required).

It is worth deciding on the list of necessary items even before the beginning of 2017-2018 school yearby reading the requirements for applicants of a particular faculty, which can be found on the official website of the corresponding higher educational institution.

All the changes that will be made in 2018, as well as the most relevant information about the Unified State Exam in literature, can also always be found on our portal.

Changes in the Unified State Exam in Literature in 2018

As part of the improvement of KIMs, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation has developed a radically new promising model of USE tickets for literature and, most likely, already in 2018, graduates will have to face a number of innovations:

  1. Questions with a short answer are completely excluded from tickets.
  2. The number of tasks selected by the participant has increased.
  3. In comparison tasks, it will be necessary to compare the text with only 1 work (previously there were 2).
  4. The essays will be checked more thoroughly, and the verification criteria will be tightened.
  5. The minimum length of a detailed answer is 50 words, and an essay is 250 words (essays less than 200 words in length are estimated at 0 points).

You can also find out about the innovations in the Unified State Exam in literature by watching a video interview with Dmitry Bak, professor at the Russian State University for the Humanities:

All tasks are given 235 minutes.

The minimum passing score is 32 points.

To get an excellent mark, you need to score more than 67 points.

When evaluating an essay, members of the commission will rely on the following criteria:

  1. The depth of understanding the problem and the presence of their thoughts. The content of the answers is the main thing. The correctness of spelling and punctuation does not affect the answer, but speech errors, violation of lexical norms, will take away points.
  2. The level of theoretical and literary knowledge of the examinee.
  3. The validity of the excerpts from the works.
  4. Consistency and consistency of presentation.
  5. Compliance with the rules and regulations of the Russian language.

List of works for passing the exam in literature

One of the most pressing questions that worries 11-graders is the list of works that must be thoroughly studied in order to successfully pass the exam in literature in the coming 2018.

Indeed, the main difficulty of the exam is the need to own a sufficiently large amount of information, because in uSE codifier the literature listed:

  • more than 150 verses;
  • 11 novels;
  • 9 poems;
  • 6 pieces;
  • 4 stories;
  • about 20 stories.

A complete list of works can be found in the "codifiers" section of the official USE website.

Preparation for the exam in literature

It is important to understand that high-quality preparation for the exam is not only about familiarizing yourself with the meaning of various works, because to successfully pass the literature exam in 2018 you will need:

  • deep understanding of the essence of the problems raised by different authors;
  • possession of information about the portraits and characters of the heroes;
  • the ability to draw parallels between the plot of the work and the spiritual experiences of the author;
  • availability own opinion and the ability to defend and justify it;
  • knowledge from the history of literature.

That is why it is necessary to read novels, stories, poems, plays, short stories and other literary works in the original, and not according to criticism, but in the process of reading, to pay attention to the little things and to lead reader's diary, in which to write down the basic information that will be needed in preparation for the exam and writing essays.

  1. Write as many training essays as possible, building specific templates for yourself for various topics.
  2. Create a card for each writer with key dates and important information.
  3. Think about the problematic of the works.
  4. Do not be lazy to write down phrases that can be used in your essays.
  5. If something is very difficult to remember, use diagrams and sketches.

The Unified State Exam in Literature is not included in the list of mandatory examinations for school graduates, but is required for admission to many universities in popular specialties: journalism, philology, television, acting and others. "I will solve the exam in literature" online - an opportunity to effectively prepare for the exam by taking tests on various topics.

This exam, according to polls of graduates, is considered one of the most difficult. There are several reasons: it is necessary to operate with a huge amount of information, it is required to write an essay, a lot of time is given (about 4 hours), and it turns out to be insufficient to successfully cope with all the tasks.

How can these problems be solved?

  • Master the theory in order to confidently use it during the examination test;
  • Learn to rationally plan time for the exam;
  • Master the skills of writing quality essays in a given topic, concisely formulate a thought.
Preparation stages:
  1. The main thing is to set a clear and precise goal. The goal is the result to which you go. To present the desired result, you need to make a list of preferred universities, where you plan to enter - each has its own passing score, which reaches 80 in the most prestigious educational institutions.
  2. Take the necessary textbooks to review the theory of literature. In order for the preparation to be systematic and thorough, it is recommended to start by familiarizing yourself with - it specifically indicates all the points to which you should pay attention.
  3. Make use of all resources for preparation, do not neglect schooling.
  4. In the matter of writing an essay, training is needed and the help of a teacher or tutor who will check the essay, give his recommendations, and help analyze mistakes.
Please note: it is impossible to properly and thoroughly prepare for the exam in six months, since the program implies a significant amount of theoretical information.

The structure of the test includes tasks that can be roughly divided into two types: testing and essay.

  • The questions of the first part require knowledge of theory and literature of different centuries - from antiquity to modernity. Awareness of events, heroes, characters, problems, styles of works is assumed. Testing involves choosing the correct option from the proposed ones. More difficult questions relate to the establishment of correspondences, analysis of the poem, the examinee is given a fragment of a literary work and tasks for it that must be completed. The biggest challenge is work with poems, the definition of means of artistic expression.
  • The second part involves formulating your own opinion in the form of an essay on a given topic. From the proposed options for topics, you can choose a suitable one - there are three of them, according to the periods of development of literature: Old Russian, classical, the latest literature... The criteria for evaluating the essay are: completeness of the disclosure of the topic, the logic of constructing the text, knowledge of terminology, factual accuracy, the ability to argue.

Codifier Is a list of works, skills, knowledge and definitions required for successful delivery final exam on literature. This guideline for teachers and students is published annually by FIPI, so that we narrow down our searches and stop at the information that will definitely come in handy in the X-hour. This list contains the main elements that make up literary studies, that is, the necessary terms and information from the history of science. They are needed to conduct a competent and deep analysis of books. It is the skill of analysis that is tested in tasks 16 and 17, where the student must give extended answers to questions, reason and give arguments from what he read.

What do you need to read to pass the exam? The list of works on the exam in 2018 is also attached to the codifier. It turns out that not all the books that pass in school are needed for the final test. Only a few (and not the most difficult ones) made it to the list. Therefore, the stage of preparation devoted to "rereading" will not take long, given the fact that the bulk of the necessary literature was passed only recently and has not yet managed to be forgotten. Thus, the graduate needs a codifier to save time and direct his efforts in the right direction. Use it as a fundamental and universally accepted guide to self-preparation.

It should be noted that not the most difficult books were chosen to pass the exam. For example, the disliked Doctor Zhivago is extremely rare in variants, since its study in the codifier of works is called "review", that is, there will be no full-scale test of knowledge of the content of this novel. In addition, in some cases, you can choose a novel. For example, from Bulgakov's prose a student may prefer either The Master and Margarita or The White Guard. It is not necessary to read both novels, it is enough to choose the simpler one. Thus, the list of books for the exam in literature is very helpful information for those who want to minimize preparation time.

The main areas of preparation for the exam

Preparation for the Unified State Exam in this subject begins with studying its current demo version. The goal is to understand the structure, form, logic of the test. You can download the demo on thematic sites dedicated to the One state examination... The theoretical material studied during the entire period of study must be repeated. Tests for 2016-2017 are being taken, several essays are being written on standard examination topics. Special attention to reading the recommended literature. The list contains 145 works, each of which was used in the preparation of exam tasks. Difficult topics are worked out with a tutor. When the test fails, the failed exam is retaken after 12 months. The test results will be appealed. The procedure is very complicated, unpleasant and lengthy. It is not worth admitting failure, because time destroys the knowledge gained in school, thus passing the exam will become even more difficult.

Every year, demo versions of the USE of the current year are published on the official website of the FIPI.

On August 21, 2017, draft documents were presented regulating the structure and content of the KIM USE 2018 (including demo version of the exam on literature).

There are documents that regulate the structure and content of CMM - codifier and specification.

6. The maximum score for all work has been increased from 42 to 57 points.

7. The procedure for appointing expert 3 has been clarified.
