The workbook is a part of the educational and methodological kit on literature for grade 5, edited by V. Ya. Korovina. The purpose of this manual is to teach fifth-graders to analyze a literary work, to form their own attitude towards it, to teach retelling a work using figurative means of the Russian language and quotes from the text, to create oral and written statements of various types, and to conduct a dialogue. The workbook consists of two parts. The first part includes the section "Preparing for the lesson" (tasks for the implementation of current control). At the end of the second part of the workbook, the correct answers are given, which will allow both the student and the teacher in a relatively short period of time to check the completed assignments and correct further work to improve the quality of knowledge. Literature workbook is intended for independent work students, but it can also be used by language teachers to prepare for lessons, parents to check homework assignments, students and teachers of philological faculties of pedagogical universities.

Starting this year, you will become familiar with such a subject as "Literature". AT primary school this discipline was called "Literary Reading". You will study a new subject using the textbook “Literature. Grade 5 "by V. Ya. Korovina, V. P. Zhuravlev, V. I. Korovin, and the workbook will help you with this.
