Paragliding courses. Paragliding training

We will teach you how to fly in 10 days and help you buy your own paraglider

2 in 1 flight training course at pilot school website

you can start today!

What does 2 in 1 mean? Most schools that provide training on the flats separate training in dynamic updraft flight at a slope or in the mountains into a separate course and, accordingly, at a separate cost. Often because they physically have nowhere to teach this. We immediately teach you how to fly in the mountains, so you get the skills of both courses for the price of one.

Is this course right for you?

This course is suitable if you:

Do you want to learn how to fly quickly?
You have the opportunity to come for 7-10 days to the Caucasus
You can allocate now 2 free evenings a week for 1.5 months to study the theoretical part

Especially for you, we have developed a basic flight training course that allows you to master a paraglider in less than 10 days. Only sometimes it takes a little more time.

Can anyone fly paragliding?

Yes, almost everyone can learn to paragliding!

And rest assured that you too can fly if:

  1. Do you want to fly
  2. Your health condition and physical form allows you to drive a car without the traffic sign 8.17 on your car window
  3. You have 7-10 days of free time during the warm season to devote them to gaining practical paragliding skills

If these 3 conditions match, then you will be able to fly just like we do and all those we have taught.

In general, most students master paragliding control in a week. One of the reasons for this is that the paraglider is the slowest of the controlled aircraft, which can fly normally even without the participation of a pilot. Both men and women aged 14 to 80 fly on paragliders. And the second reason is without a doubt the training experience of our instructors.

But, if you decide to paragliding, then be prudent and be careful not to make the first flights on your own without the supervision of an instructor!

You need to learn to fly only in a good paragliding club or school

And there are many reasons for this, which can be combined into the following 3 theses:

  1. Classes with a good instructor will cost an order of magnitude cheaper than the services of a surgeon or traumatologist
  2. A good school will have a good instructor
  3. A good instructor will select the right equipment for training

Criteria for choosing a paragliding school

  1. At the school, instructors strive to comply with international training requirements.
  2. At school you can get a certificate, or better an international license.

If all these conditions are met, then such a school deserves your attention.

In addition, there are still enough nuances that are worth talking about, but we will leave these topics for study in our classes so as not to overload with information now.

Therefore, we recommend that you start today by studying the theoretical block of the basic course of study. This block of 14 lessons is studied at our school remotely. In any case, it will be useful to you in whatever school you study.

To apply and start studying the theoretical block, fill out and send

Cost of basic course options

The cost of training starts from 35000 r. and varies to a large extent on whether you want to train on school equipment or purchase your own and start learning on it. And also the theoretical part of the basic online course has been completed or not yet. Additional information to make a decision on the training option, you can get by phone +7-917-33-44-962

The training program at the club includes 30 solo flights + 1-2 tandem flights. Tandem flights with an instructor are held on initial stage, to consolidate independent paragliding control skills.

Might ask: How long will my training last?

Answer: The first 1-2 lessons are ground training with a paraglider. Until the full assimilation of management skills. Then the pilot begins to make independent flights on a paraglider. There are no more than 8 flights per day. Doesn't make sense anymore nervous and physical stress will not allow a novice pilot to learn more, but will only use up his flights. On average, this is 5-6 flights. Accordingly, 30 flights is about 5 days.

Paragliding flights are carried out only on weekends in the absence of precipitation and strong winds.
Based on the above, you need about 6-7 flying days (weekends with good weather). As a rule, it is about 1-1.5 months.

In the off-season (autumn, winter or spring), theory is studied and theoretical paragliding exams are taken. Based on the results of successfully passed exams, cadets receive flight documents. Also, upon request, an international pilot license is issued - FAI (International Federation of Aviation Sports) for flights abroad.

What is included in the cost of paragliding training:

  • Ground training (10 hours, then 250 rubles/hour)
  • 1-2 tandem flights with an instructor (for review)
  • 30 solo flights (up to a maximum of 8 flights per day)
  • rental of equipment for the duration of training
  • theoretical classes
  • theory and practice exams (paid retake)
  • obtaining flight documents

The cost of a paragliding training course is 40,000 rubles. You can pay by the day, at 8,000 rubles per day. But if you pay for the entire paragliding training course at once, there is a 27% discount.

If, after the first or second lesson, you decide to take a full paragliding training course and pay for it in full, then when paying for the remaining days of the course, there is also a discount, but only for the remaining days of the course.

Officially, the club was registered in 1995 in the OF SLA of Russia. Subsequently, he underwent re-registration and came under the jurisdiction of ROSTO (now again DOSAAF). During the existence of our club, several hundred cadets have been trained in it. Vast experience has been accumulated in the training of "young" pilots. With the cadets of our club Trained by highly experienced instructors.

  • Classes are held all year round. A break is made only for the off-season (autumn and spring), when it is impossible to go to the field due to mud.
  • Classes are held individually , so the time of classes is chosen by the student himself, about which he must notify the instructor in advance.
  • Classes are held every weekend. The break is made only due to weather conditions (strong wind and / or rain).

The training program for paragliding flights under the "Beginner Pilot" program is based on Task 1 for KULP-SD 87 .

After passing the paragliding training course under the "Beginner Pilot" program and successfully passing the theoretical exam and the practical exam, the cadet is assigned the third sports category.

We use certified equipment in our classes. international standards security. This equipment is designed specifically for beginner pilots. All club cadets fly with radio communication, which ensures even greater safety.

Flights are carried out on a winch

For those wishing to continue their professional development, there are several programs. One of the most popular programs SIV Course (In-Flight Incident Simulation Course). This course allows the pilot to safely work out emergency situations that may occur during the flight due to deteriorating weather conditions. For safety, this course is conducted with a large margin of altitude and over water (Turkey Oludeniz or Abkhazia Gagra). A large headroom, in case of an error, gives more time to correct it. But if the pilot does not have time to correct his mistake (which happens extremely rarely), then splashdown is less traumatic than landing in emergency mode. Pargliding course is held in the warm season, which excludes swimming in cold water.

All pilots pass it with a reserve parachute and radio communications. Before each flight, a briefing on the flight task is carried out, and a boat with rescuers is on duty below (in case of a splashdown).

We also provide training in paramotor flights (motor paraglider or paraglider with a motor). For training with a paramotor, 1-2 additional lessons are enough after passing full course initial training in paragliding.

Another of the advanced training courses, held by the club on the road in Bulgaria (in August) and Yuts (Pyatigorsk).

The Bulgarian course is designed for pilot training to fly and work in thermal updrafts (thermals) -

  • Introductory course to paragliding (3 flights in tandem (3rd flight can be solo), ground training for 2 days) - 10,000 rubles (height 250-400m);

Paragliding is the most simple form flight, so anyone can try their hand. It is enough to find a hill, take a good run, jump and fly, controlling the wing. But it's not as simple as it might seem. If you want such entertainment to bring pleasure, you need paragliding training in Moscow. Otherwise, there is a risk of serious injury.

How is the introduction to paragliding

Classes involve the passage of theoretical and practical training. You won't have to listen to lectures for a long time. You will learn how a paraglider works and the features of flying. It also implies the revision of video and photo materials on paragliding.

Much more attention is paid to practice. First, you will work out on the simulator. You will learn the features of the suspension system, develop the habit of immediately fastening the locks, sitting down according to the rules.

Management skills play an important role aircraft. You will learn how to properly transfer weight, learn how steering can be done, and practice turning. Training on a special simulator is also carried out when several flights have already been made. This is necessary to improve management skills.

You will make 3 training flights with an instructor. As part of this course, an independent paragliding flight is possible.

Task for 1 flight: You will fly with an instructor together in tandem. The instructor independently performs takeoff, climb and landing. In flight, control under the guidance of an instructor is transferred to you. You will try straight flight, turns, weight and brake control and other interesting exercises.

In the second flight, you independently control the paraglider at altitude, make a landing approach. In addition, you fly the paraglider under the guidance of an instructor during climb and landing

In the third flight, you control the paraglider as independently as possible. The instructor only takes off the wing directly, and then you perform the entire flight until the landing itself under the supervision of an instructor. At the discretion of your instructor and flight director, the third flight with an instructor may be replaced by a solo flight.

Requirements for students

Introduction to paragliding involves a lot of activities at various flight sites in Moscow and the region, so there should be no health problems.

Other requirements include:

  • the student must be at least 16 years old;
  • readiness for physical activity is important;
  • there should be no problems with the cardiovascular system.

There are also requirements for clothing.

You will need:

  • jacket or shirt with long sleeves;
  • work overalls or trousers made of dense material - for example, loose jeans;
  • mountain boots or sneakers;
  • gloves.

Sometimes paragliding training in Moscow is held in rather windy places, so it is better to bring a sweater or jacket with you so as not to freeze.

Paragliding is a sport that anyone can practice. There are no strict requirements for those who want to try their hand at flying. Enough desire to get off the ground, and experienced instructors will only help to make it a reality.

The low gliding speed (20-70 km/h) is perfect for the first acquaintance with the sky, especially if you don’t dare to board the plane yet.

What is waiting for me?

Free planning at an altitude of up to 450 m. Technically, the paraglider rises to 5000 m, but tandem flights take place at a low altitude so that the passenger enjoys the views. The paraglider is constantly descending, but if it gets in the way of an upward flow of warm air, it will soar upwards. If desired, the pilot will demonstrate safe aerobatics - swing the wing or twist the spiral.

Selecting a certificate paragliding and paramotoring, an adventure for two in the sky awaits you. It all happens like this: the first passenger in tandem with an instructor rises on a paramotor cart. And then he watches from above how the second person on a tandem paraglider will rise to the same height with the help of a winch. The duration of the flight on a paramotor is 10-15 minutes, on a paraglider - 5-10 minutes. Duration depends on weather conditions.

For high-altitude flights summer days will come when the earth is warm, and warm air rushes up, forming ascending thermal flows (season: summer). In such a flow, a paraglider can climb literally "up to the clouds" and fly away for many kilometers. Steaming will last from 10 minutes and longer. Unfortunately, "soaring" weather does not happen every day, even in summer time years, and it is impossible to guarantee 100% hit in the stream. Therefore, this flight can be replaced by 2 regular departures.

Master class "Paragliding" includes ground training 4-5 hours and 1 flight in tandem with an instructor; if there is sufficient training and assimilation of the necessary knowledge, 2 independent flights on a single-seat paraglider with the instructor's radio control.

Flying with aerial acrobatics can be recommended for extreme and adrenaline lovers (season: summer). Your pilot will not "fly in a straight line", but will perform several acrobatic maneuvers. The passenger will feel what overload is, sometimes the total speed of the paraglider will increase to 100 km / h, above your head you will see not the sky, but .. the earth. Acrobatic figures are chosen by the pilot based on weather conditions and the weight of the passenger; for safety, stunts are performed at an altitude of more than 100 m.

On average, the flight lasts 10 minutes.
On average, because the duration of the flight is affected by wind speed, the presence / absence of updrafts and aerobatics (it eats up the height, bringing the paraglider closer to the ground).

Do I need to prepare for a flight?

Before the paraglider is in the sky, the pilot and passenger will have to run a little across the field. Here are a few rules: wear comfortable shoes without heels and with corrugated soles, choose clothes according to the weather, and in sunny weather, bring sunglasses and cream with you. And listen to the pilot's commands. Nothing complicated.

How it works?

A paraglider resembles a wing parachute, but there are differences: a paraglider has a longer canopy, no need to jump from an airplane, and it is equipped with a seat with girths that fix the body. To take off, a towing system is used: the winch pulls a cable attached to the passenger. When the height is gained, the cable is unfastened - flew!

Who is it suitable for?

The weight and height of the passenger does not matter. Another thing is age. At all paradromes, only people over 18 are allowed to fly. People after operations, as well as those with diseases of the cardiovascular / nervous system or the musculoskeletal system, are not allowed to fly. Pregnant women are also not allowed to fly.

On a note:

Paragliding flights in the Moscow region take place in the warm season on weekends in the presence of favorable weather conditions. The exception is the Voronovo paradrome, where flights are carried out all year round. By choosing a paragliding flight as a gift, you can arrange an original date. Imagine you are floating near and enjoy the breathtaking beauty.

The certificate is valid for 8 months. Be sure to take into account the seasonality of the provision of services and the conditions for their implementation (for example, favorable weather conditions, schedule, etc.), which is agreed with the organizers when recording.

Delivery of gift certificates for a paragliding flight is free of charge within the Moscow Ring Road the next day after the order. .
