On August 8, in a battle in the Kharkov direction near the village of Lomnaya (Belgorod region), Sergeant A.I. Kashirin. with the calculation, reflecting the enemy's counterattack, knocked out 2 tanks and destroyed up to 30 Nazis. In further battles, in an offensive in the Kiev direction, near the village of Sakunikha (Nedrigailovsky district of the Sumy region of Ukraine) and the village of Brovary (now the city of the Kiev region of Ukraine), with the calculation, he destroyed 9 firing points and about 2 enemy infantry platoons.
