It is a branch of the St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications named after Professor M.A. Bonch-Bruevich.

Within the framework of the professional educational programs of secondary vocational education implemented in the college, two profiles are provided: technical (specialty groups: 11.00.00 Electronics, radio engineering and communication systems, 09.00.00 Informatics and computer technology) and information security: (specialty group: 10.00.00 Information security). In addition to full-time education, distance learning programs are being implemented.

Training is conducted in Russian.

Additional education at the college is implemented on the basis of the Regulation on the procedure for the provision of paid educational services for basic and additional educational programs.

Scholarships and other forms of material support for college students are carried out on the basis of the Regulations approved by the rector of the St.Petersburg State University of Telecommunications. prof. M.A. Bonch-Bruevich.

To provide solid knowledge and necessary practical skills, the college has well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, 11 computer labs, a sports complex with sports and gymnasiums. At the disposal of students are offices of technical teaching aids, an assembly hall, a library and a reading room with Internet access, a radio studio, a medical office, and a psychological office. For nonresident students, there are two comfortable hostels.

Reception of documents

    When applying (in Russian) for admission to educational organizations, the applicant submits the following documents:
  • original or photocopy of documents proving his identity, citizenship;
  • original or photocopy of education document and (or) education and qualification document;

  • copies of documents or other evidence confirming the belonging of a compatriot living abroad to the groups provided for in Article 17 of the Federal Law of May 24, 1999 N 99-FZ "On the state policy of the Russian Federation in relation to compatriots abroad";
  • 4 photos.

Entrance tests

Admission to a college (branch) of the university for training in basic professional educational programs of secondary vocational education is carried out for the first year at the personal application of citizens.

An applicant has the right to apply simultaneously for several specialties, for various forms of education, according to which the basic professional educational programs of secondary vocational education are implemented in the university college (branch), as well as simultaneously to places at the expense of budgetary allocations from the federal budget and to places under contracts for the provision paid educational services with individuals and (or) legal entities.

In the event that the number of applicants exceeds the number of places, the financial support of which is carried out at the expense of budgetary allocations of the federal budget, the college (branch) of the university admits for training in educational programs of secondary vocational education separately, based on the results of mastering the educational program of basic general or secondary general education, specified in the submitted documents on education and (or) documents on education and qualifications, taking into account the average score, the average score in specialized subjects (physics, mathematics (algebra) and Russian), the score in mathematics (algebra).

The Northern Regional Electrotechnical School was organized by the decision of the Northern Regional Executive Committee of the Soviets of Workers 'and Peasants' Deputies on May 5, 1930 in the city of Arkhangelsk on the basis of the third secondary school. He was given the task of training electrical engineers of strong and weak currents (radio technicians, telephone and telegraph technicians). In the school building, the technical school occupied three floors. The technical school was supported by the funds of various organizations for which it trained personnel: the regional Council of the National Economy, the Morflot, the Northern Regional Shipping Company, the All-Union Electrotechnical Association, Exportles, Severoles, the city railway, the Communications Department. In 1932, the technical school was taken over by the USSR People's Commissariat of Communications and became called the Arkhangelsk Technical School of Communications.
